This seems to be a good quality AKG blend so far. - Capsules are easy to swallow - No odd aftertaste or ill effects - Price/Value is okay - Label has non-GMO stamp, claims GMP cert, and claims 3rd party lab tested (however I haven't seen the COA yet, but I have reviewed COAs from some of their other products which were excellent) I haven't had any problem taking these, but I'm only giving 4 stars for now until I have a chance to view a COA from the company for this product. If/when I receive that, I'll revise my review accordingly.

The pills are a bit smaller than other brands--so easier to swallow. Good buy for the $.

Screwed up my intestines. Even opened capsules and took only one-fifth of the contents of each capsule, mixed in yogurt. The result was the same as taking one entire capsule: I consider this supplement "toxic"

It can be difficult to review supplements, as so many are out there with little in the way of studies about their effectiveness. Also the claims can often be pretty broad and varied. And in the fact that benefits from personal experience/use can be impacted by so many other things - have you changed your sleep patterns, lost weight, improved or changed your diet, etc... All these can impact your health and performance. That said, these are well packaged, they are easy to swallow with no weird after tastes. I have had no adverse events since starting on these supplements, so my system has tolerated them well. I picked these up as I am making several changes to my lifestyle and thought it may help. So I am changing my diet and exercise regiment plus adding in other supplements and therapies in hopes of becoming a healthier me. After 4 weeks of use, I have no issues with the product. My capacity for training has improved and my recovery time has shortened; but I cannot say whether I can attribute it to this supplement, but rather the combination of a number of factors. We do know with certainty that "Alpha-ketoglutarate works in many pathways in the body, to help make muscle, and to help heal wounds" per WedMD. So as long as you do not have any adverse reactions to this product, it will provide some health benefits. The price for the quantity makes this a good value.
