Love it
Love this pot, it's perfect for stews. Bit small though, even though it's the "large" size - good for two or three servings, but basically only one dinner/lunch, not enough leftovers with two people.

Lovely bowl
Reall good quality bowl - lovely looking, pretty packaging and works really well! My only issue is the size - but that’s entirely my fault as it does say small! Highly recommend this product but I would suggest getting the bigger one. I’ll be ordering the bigger one myself.

Worth it for a simple, traditional experience
Pricey but seems worth the money. I'm not a great chef but I find being able to cook and eat with the same bowl is so much easier, particularly if you want to poach an egg and add a slice of cheese. I bought the large one, and it seems the right size for a big noodle soup. It does have a large flat base, but if you have a soup spoon, the tray does help keep the bowl tilted when you need to get more of the soup towards the end when you're nearly done eating. The plastic tray does help protect your table from the hot dolsot. It keeps it warm for a long time too. I'd suggest heating up gradually before adding ingredients. Avoid shocking with cold water so either heat up water from the start or boil water separately. For this ramyun recipe, after preheating the dolsot, saute a couple of spoons of kimchi for 2mins with a dash of oil (low flame as you don't want to burn the garlic in the kimchi), then add 2 cups of hot water, gochujang chilli paste, and any other seasoning you may have and boil, then add the ramyun noodles and occasionally stir while cooking for 5mins. Towards the end add any extra sauce you may wish to add, stir, bring the flame down and add sesame seed or other garnishing. You can poach the eggs on top and cheese then close the lid for 4mins before serving.

Great for Bibimbap!
Bought so many of these bowls for Bibimbap. Sturdy, well packaged and good quality! We used to have a gas hob but now have an induction so sadly these can only work with a template underneath. We will still use in our oven though (for hotpots/casseroles)

Fantastic dolsot for a good price
Fantastic dolsot for a good price. Used twice now. Washed well in the dishwasher. Stands up against direct heat. I was really nervous putting it on the flame the first time but it's fantastic. Makes the best bibimbap!

So happy with it
I wasn’t sure if this would work with my stove but it definitely works with a glass top. It’s the perfect size for a single portion and keeps food super warm. I’m in love with it!

Beautiful and practical
I bought these for a dinner party at home. They are very practical, I could put them onto the stove (yet to try putting it in the oven) and could keep food warm and even cook like that. They lovely lovely. My friends were all commenting how lovely they are look.

I've had the large size ttukbaegi (without lid) for a few months now, using it almost daily on a gas stove and running it through the dishwasher after every use, and it is holding up perfectly. Carelessly using ceramic soup spoons and steel utensils, there isn't the slightest indication of wear in the surface finish - it still looks brand new. The wide format makes it suitable for all kinds of cooking tasks, from boiling instant ramyun to simmering and serving a stew, cooking rice or even browning meat. It is really thick and quite heavy, and retains heat for a long time. The trivet is really nice, perfectly fits the base of the vessel and holds it securely. I also own a really fancy ttukbaegi straight from Korea that costs 4 times the price, but I like this thing so much, I bought a second one. This is a great bargain for the quality you're getting.

How could you possibly think a plastic base is acceptable?
