Outstanding radio with excellent AM FM and blutooth. Cabinet stunning looks like real wood and solid. Not cheap price though.
Although this radio is not cheap the quality seems very good with the wood veneer, it looks good. The sound is excellent for both AM and FM and very clear and sensitive to am stations far away and I mainly only listen to AM. The lighted dial is a good feature for night. Loud enough for big rooms. Although I don't intend to use this for blutooth I tested it out and connected first time no problem and sound is fantastic. I opened it up and found that the speaker has a big magnet not the cheap small ones you find in cheap radios and that results in better sound so another reason why the radio is not cheap. The detail on the outside cabinet is excellent making a good looking radio that can be part of furniture which is what the radios of those days were so this can be used in living room due to stunning appearance. The knobs seems flimsy though so I wouldn't bang it around or have a young kid play with it. Overall worth the high price and seems reliable but sound is excellent for AM FM and blutooth.

Great product!
Great little radio! Perfect size. Real wood. Cloth covering the speaker. Sound is excellent! Looks just like a vintage 1930s stereo with today's Bluetooth technology.

Sounds Good and Works Well
As long as your expectations are reasonable, this is an excellent product. Although it looks like a cathedral radio it is a scaled-down version of the originals. It is 11" tall, 8" wide, and 6" deep. The cabinet is pressboard with a stained veneer. Looks good from a few feet away but it's clear up close it is not fine wood like an original. AM, FM, and a Bluetooth receiver. Even with the wire FM antenna bunched up the FM receiver is decent. It receives faint local stations clearly that other radios I own cannot. The AM receiver is a noisy but works. Tuning on AM and FM is very tight and you may need to tweak the dial back and forth to center on a station. A small movement covers a lot of the band. I purchased this radio to use the Bluetooth receiver so AM/FM is extra. I use better radios to tune those frequencies. A nuisance other reviewers note is that the tuning dial only lights in AM or FM mode. In Bluetooth mode the tuning dial is dark. There is a blue LED over the function selector knob on the left and a red LED over the power/volume knob. Neither is exceptionally bright but you can't miss them. In Bluetooth mode the tuning dial is dark and that seems to annoy reviewers that want to use the Bluetooth speaker while pretending they are listening to an old radio. An option to light the tuning dial in Bluetooth mode would be nice but it's not essential for me. The blue LED flashes when there is no Bluetooth connection. If the blue and red LEDs bother you, a tiny circle cut from opaque tape easily blocks them and is barely noticeable. I used a paper punch to cut small circles from black electrical tape. If having the tuning dial lit in Bluetooth mode is essential, the dial is lit by two LEDs plugged into the radio's PC board. A person experienced with electronics should be able to find a way to power them in Bluetooth mode. (That's what I plan to do after the warranty expires.) Although this should go without saying if you are going to poke around inside always disconnect the power before removing the back. It is AC powered and there are dangerous voltages exposed inside. The sound is remarkably good considering the size. It is comparable with antique radios with similar size speakers. It does tend to be a little bass heavy so it would be nice if it had a tone knob but you might be able to EQ the sound at the Bluetooth source. I have used a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or Amazon Echo to feed the Bluetooth receiver. Most of the time the Bluetooth source is connected to wifi and is within 3' feet. The Echo I use is about 12' away and sometimes the signal is momentarily lost but it works. If someone made a radio that looked like this but had a wifi connection and could stream Internet radio I would be in heaven. This is the next best thing. I have an old smartphone that no longer has cell phone service but still works with wifi. It's Android and runs several Internet radio apps. I stash it behind the radio and, from a few feet away, the illusion is decent. I use this radio to listen to Internet streaming music of the 20's and 30's and old time radio shows. I have higher fidelity Bluetooth speakers but I like the old-fashioned look and sound of this radio. I recommend it if you are similarly anachronistic. ;-)

Awesome Radio
A Nice Radio. My mom loves it. She's 85 and is used to traditional volume power on and off buttons. This works great for her. It has a plug in cord for electric. It has an antenna on the back that you can maneuver to where the signal comes in clear. Easy to use. I'm impressed with the size. The size is bigger than what I thought. No batteries. Electric plug in.
