Q: How many pellets to feed two small fish ? I was using flakes but just lost third fish and wondered if I overfed as used a pinch of flakes twice a day

We've used these mim pellets since our fish were babies Just put a small amount twice a day.The fish should come straight away if they don't then they are not hungry.If this happens then just try once a day as they will also feed on the green algae which is also good for them.Good luck.

Q: What's the size difference between the standard and mini pellets ?

The minis are probably about 1/5th the size of standard pellets and round. Their size and shape allows my smaller fish to get their share as they can eat them in one piece rather than pick away at a larger one only to have it taken from them by a big un!

Q: Can this food be fed to fish in the autumn and spring?

Normally we don’t feed our fish from approx end October until end March /April. When weather starts to warm a bit. You can generally tell when you throw feed into pond and fish are not bothered. Don’t feed.

Composition: Derivatives of vegetable origin, cereal, vegetable protein extracts, Fish and fish derivatives, oils and fats, Minerals,Algae,yeasts. Analytical constituents: Vitamins, pro vitamins and chemically well defined substances having similar effect: Vitamin 28800 IU/kg, vitamin D 1800 IU/kg, Compounds of trace elements: Manganese (manganese (11) sulphate, monohydrate) 44mg/kg, iron (iron(11) sulphate monohydrate,) 29 mg/kg. Colourants, Preservatives, antioxidants. This is what it says on the packet.

Great value 1kg bag of pond fish pellets

Great value good quality small floating pellets. These are ideal for our small fish pond and family of goldfish and hybrids. We have used the small packets before but 1kg bag will last us a year most likely.

I have 13 gold fish in 2 outdoor Blagdon Half Moon ponds. Oddly enough. I have tried them with all sorts of goldfish food, flakes, etc but these are the only ones they will ever eat. No choice, but I have to keep buying these.
