What can i say stunning performance from ACDC. I wasn't that much of an ACDC fan but i was at my friends house one night having a few beers and he put this on, i was amazed how great they were live. I ordered this DVD to watch again and i can say its one of the best live concerts I've seen. The Argentinians really know how to have a good time, the energy and atmosphere from the crowd is terrific. I recommend you buy this DVD, turn all the lights off, whack the volume up as much as your ears can stand and enjoy. You won't be disappointed. Even if your not that much of a fan you will enjoy this performance. I also got this cheaper from Amazon than some second hand DVDs on E-bay.

This is about AC/DC Live at River Plate BLU ray: I first saw AC/DC in 1979 in a nightclub. It was a performance that I will never forget. The high spot was when a roadie carried Angus on his shoulders into the audience leaving a small army of other roadies trying to keep his extra long guitar lead from getting caught. How times have changed, thirty odd years on and AC/DC fill massive stadiums, but basically they are the same.... The greatest live band in the world ever. If you are even remotely interested in AC/DC then buy this Blu Ray album. The atmosphere, the music, the whole thing is just amazing. Whoever edited this disc is an AC/DC fan and handles it really brilliantly. Every track is musically spot on and the visuals reflect this. There are quite a few AC/DC concerts available on DVD/Blu Ray with "Live At Donington" being the best up to now, but this is even better. The HD camera work and the crystal clear audio tracks bring AC/DC into your front room. So if, like me, you couldn't afford the air fare to Buenos Aires then buy this. It really is like being there. If you want to see and hear the Bon years (no doubt the best) then buy ACDC Let There Be Rock Blu Ray. Not up to River Plate visually (it's the 70's) but musically unbeatable. cheers

I salute you! This is a brilliant concert by a great rock n roll band! Loads of classic songs played live along with more recent songs from the Black Ice album. If you are a fan then this is a no brainer! A superb picture, great sound, and some extras make this a very good purchase. Lets just hope that they continue to make albums and great music! Long live rock n roll!

I used to love AC/DC with Bon Scott and have every record and CD from that era, but with Brian Johnson they only made one good record and that was Back In Black, after that it was just so so album after so so album. Even the band know this just look how many songs they still use live from the Bon Scott era. Anyway after seeing the ads in many a rock magazine for Live at River Plate I decided to buy this with out too much expectation. But hey this is pretty good, not perfect though there are too many plodding songs to make it exceptional. What makes this stand out is the wonderful crowd, South American fans really know how to enjoy music concerts. So I can recommend this and you can always fast forward the bad songs. Alan duggan

AC/DC on absolute top form here. Boy, do they give it some!!! I've been a fan since the beginning of time when nobody I knew had heard of them. This is a fantastic slice of a band giving it all they've got. The crowd seem half crazed and leap around the whole time adding greatly to a truly electric atmosphere. It really leaves you breathless. A huge array of cameras at the stadium capture crystal clear action from every angle with a nicely edited final product. The surround sound on my Blu-ray version is just mind blowing. If you love AC/DC, you will love this. No doubt about it! It is near impossible for me to pick highlights from AC/DC at River Plate, but their version of an old favourite of mine 'Let There Be Rock' is a definitive example of all that is so exciting about rock music. They go for it, grab it, wring its neck and launch it into space! Crikey!!! Thanks guys for all the music over the years. Critics complain that it all sounds the same, but that is precisely why we love 'em. Rock on!!!

Having been a big fan of this awesome rock group for many years & only ever seen them once at Donnington many years ago. I was a bit upset not to of caught them on their Black Ice Tour. This dvd is an absolute must for the fans of this fantastic group. Connect it up to a 5.1 surround system & believe me you will have goose pimples as i did, playing the drums with Phil Rudd, air guitar with Angus & Malcolm & even quiet Cliff williams & singing along with the awesome Brian Johnson. Bloody BRILLIANT. What a fantastic blue ray dvd & the crowd are brilliant too. 10/10

Have not always been a big AC DC fan but have taken to thier music over the years, Im now a fully converted fan, I thouroughly enjoyed this concert, it could only have been better if i could have actually been there, film quality is sharp , audio spot on and the concert captures the raw energy of a rock group still at the top of their game, not easily impressed , am very happy with this.

What a great show! If you never considered yourself an AC/DC fan, you will be after watching this! You can watch it and feel it! Michele

The camera angles and performance are absolutely amazing and the sound quality is tops. Absolute must have to any AC/DC fan. Upgrade to the blu ray was definitely worth it

Concerto sublime, ma nella mia giovinezza non erano tra i miei preferiti. Sara' anche la nostalgia di quei tempi ormai passati, ma la musica era vera musica, i musicisti erano tali, la qualita' molta, c'era solo l'imbarazzo della scelta. Oggi....... mah....... mi astengo, sono una persona educata, non vorrei offendere nessuno.

ACDC siguen llenando estadios tras 40 años de carrera, y los seguiran llenando mientras su receta sea tan inmortal e inmune a modas como lo es el rock. Una buena imagen y un sonido de fábula, se disfruta mucho con un buen 5.1 y a todo volumen. Casi veinte temas y dos horas y pico de concierto.
