Nintendo Switch Loves Toshiba Memory Cards
I wanted a nice big 128GB Micro SDXC memory card for my Nintendo Switch, and purchased this card prior to delivery. It took a long time for me to pick a card because of the amount of choice we have. All of the companies appear to make similar performance claims to justify their products pricing. Toshiba wants customers to know that it invented flash memory and this should be reassuring to customers, it should be. I found the statistics were pleasing at just under 90/30 MB/s.The Nintendo Switch automatically recognises this memory card and updates itself to support it, there was no need to format the memory card, but I did this in the system storage options menu anyway. Games are automatically downloaded and installed onto the memory card, load times are very fast and there's no detectable lag. I highly recommend chosing this memory card.

Perfect dash-cam card
I recently bought a new Nextbase 512GW dash-cam and needed a larger capacity, faster SD card. I'd read a lot of reviews on cards suitable for dash-cams, there are varying reports on whether you need a specific type of card due to the constant write cycles demanded by a dash-cam and also the issue with camera batteries dying mid-write. I found that the Toshiba Exceria range had been covered by a couple of sites and rated highly for being in the middle of the performance/price area for dash-cam performance. The camera seems to have no issue reading and writing to/from the card and transfer speeds seem reasonable when connected to a USB3 port with a micro SD to USB adapter.Longevity and reliability will be key here but only time will tell on that, if I have any problems I'll update this review but from the first couple of weeks of use I have seen no problems with this card.

A great card. Just as with bin bags, a cheap sd card is a false economy - get a decent one like this!
I've tried a load of cheap micro sd and sd cards over the years, and one thing I've learnt is that it's a false economy. You are generally using them to store information of importance to you, usually photos or videos etc that you have taken, so they tend not to be something you want to loose. There is really no point saving money on one if you subsequently go on to lose important data, something I've learnt the hard way of the years. These days I stick to the big brands (Sandisk, toshiba etc) and my like is much better for it. In the very rare occasion I've had an issue (I had a Sandisk card play up) the difference is you can return it after 18 months and still get a prompt replacement from the manufacturer - try doing that with that generic Chinese card you got from ebay.So this Toshiba card comes highly recommend - great speed and I've never once been let down by one, despite using this particular model everyday in both my phone and camera.Highly recommended, you can't go wrong at the current prices either (it was under £35 when I purchased mine) but it does fluctuate a bit.

From 32GB to 164GB (ish)
This review covers usage of this memory card following its purchase in March 2016. This little marvel was bought with the express purpose of going straight into a Nintendo Switch gaming console. From memory there was little to no ceremony around the process - just stick the memory card into the system, follow whatever prompts come up on the screen and away you go.More often than not the target device or system will be able to format the card to suit its needs but I can only vouch for my use case.As at the time of writing I have had no issues with it, speed and performance in the system is perfectly fine and the space is a useful addition!

Not as advertised
I bought this card to fit as many movies as possible for our vacation. Writing speed was no more than 8mb/s and when tried to play some movies (1080p) the image just stuttered and stopped eventually. But then I moved the movies on one of my samsung cards and the movies were perfectly fine. Not happy at all with this cards performance

Faulty Card, never worked, continually lost all data!
I ordered this way back in September (2018) for my son at college for his Android phone to store music files, and ever since he tried to use it, he complained that he could never get it to work, and that it kept losing all his music files and would often not even show up on his phone. I'd assumed he'd been doing something wrong all along or that there was a problem with his phone and so when he came home this Christmas I had a look. I soon realised that firstly, the card was excruciatingly slow while trying to copy 100gb of music files, and then once they were copied, ejecting the card and reinserting it back into my windows 10 laptop caused all the files to disappear (no phone involved)! Spent hours trying this on multiple machines and still the same problem. So I can only assume the card is faulty. It's a 128gb sdxc card, formatted as ex-fat so that should be correct. I'm surprised at this because it (Toshiba M302 Exceria microSDXC UHS-1) ought to be a reliable brand. Maybe it was just a bad (or fake) batch, but I don't think I'll be buying any more of these in future! If I could give zero stars I would, for the waste of time, money and inconvenience. As it's been so long before I could examine the card, I doubt if I'll get my money back either :(

Good card but may not work for everyone
I brought this for my Nikon D5600. At first everything with great, the speed lived up to what it said and I had no issues. Now a few months down the line I’m starting to see problems every time I go out taking pictures. I will get an error message stating that it can’t access the card. It’s an easy fix by just taking it out and putting it back in, but by then you’ve missed the shot. It’s the first time I’ve had a card do this. I suppose you get what you pay for.
