THIS PRODUCT WORKS! Please try it.
When prepared in water it doesn’t make up as thick a consistency as other slippery elm powders, which in my opinion is good! It is much easier to use in an oral syringe with my golden retriever. And importantly IT WORKS! She has had issues with acid reflux, gastritis and ulcers for years. Vet prescribed Omeprazole which did not work. Other slippery elm powders were more gelatinous when mixed with water and she did not like them...and they didn’t work so well. THIS PRODUCT WORKS! My dog is on a raw food diet. Slippery Elm needs to be prepared as per instructions, ie mixed with water. Do Not just add powder to food. The amount per instructions fills a jam jar which is enough to give to my dog twice a day- 10 ml in an oral syringe. She has three meals a day and I give her 10ml if Slippery Elm 30 minutes before the first and last meal. She rarely has issues re: acid reflux etc since starting this product. She has not regurgitated her food either. She accepts the liquid without fuss. I HIGHlY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Great product
Was recommended by a friend who uses it for her Ragdoll cat, but didn't work for my cat.

Life saver for my kitten!
My kitten had isuues for weeks with vets scratching their heads on what was going on. Gave her this for 3/4 days and all solved! The kitty didn't had issues anymore, a month later on. Easy to prepare and the kitten didn't disliked it. She was licking it like a treat!

Gave my dog diarrhoea
I bought this as my dog has anal gland issues and has soft stools. After making up the liquid as directed my whole kitchen smelt like curry, I could not get the powder to dissolve and had loads of brown powder residue at the bottom of the pan. Ny dog refused to take it 30mins before food (I think he thought we were poisoning him) so we had to put it in his food which he ate. However the next few days he had really bad wind, it smelt awful and the poor lad had really bad diarrhoea, so we giving it him

Worked like magic on my chihuahua who had an upset tummy
Worked like magic on my chihuahua who had an upset tummy, the product had been recommended by a friend who lent me hers before mine arrived, she didn't have instructions and has big dogs herself so I just gave a tiny amount mixed into the food. When mine arrived with instructions to boil into a syrup I didn't bother and just kept sprinkling a little on her food. When she was better I gradually reduced the amount and then stopped. I would love to know why it needs to be boiled as it seemed to work the way I administered it , also should it be given long term as a preventative?

Happy puppy
My Akita Lc puppy 9 months, has a very sensitive tummy. His diet consists of rice ,boiled chicken legs and crushed Orijen puppy kibble. He also has yumove for his joints. He can only have Orijen if he has the magical slippery elm. He has no tummy ache and sleeps through night. All the trips to vet are history . I still think his stools need to be firmer but at least it’s not sticky diarrhoea anymore.

I'm not convinced
It isn't easy to convince my cat to eat it. I have to force-feed him, effectiveness, questionable. Definitely not worth the price.
