Grenade Reload Protein Flapjacks Bars, Chocolate Orange, 12 x 70 g

Big fan of Grenade products and these flapjacks are amazing, great taste and packs in a healthy amount of protein and carbs, great as a morning snack.Thank you Grenade for all that you do :-)

I have bought a few of bars from Grenade and by far this is the best tasting. I would happily eat it as a snack. Its loaded with protein with a incredibley low sugar level in comparison to other types of protein bars.

Good bars with a good taste. Some flavours are a bit odd but these ones are great. The value is what makes it 4 starts though.

Absolutely edible, definitely fills you up, and has a generous about of calories and other bulking nutrients. Currently much cheaper than alternatives.

Hmm. I'm a big fan of grenade carb killa bars and shakes (never encountered one in a flavour I would expect to like that I didn't find delicious) and I think the white chocolate and cookies carb killa spread is actually inspired (not so much the chocolate one, but still a good example of a protein spread).The grenade flapjacks don't excite me. I've eaten a couple, but for me the orange flavour has a fake after taste (it isn't offensive but it isn't nice either) and they are quite dry. This could be good because it encourages you to drink more water, but it means it isn't actually a particularly convenient snack. I like the macros for a reload scenario too. After I've done a big workout I want to give myself a boost of carbs to make sure I'm not shaky and can have a productive day and some protein to help with muscle repair. From that perspective this is a great bar. But, even though the Dr Zak cookies are even drier than this, I would reach for one of those before I would reach for one of these. I won't be buying a second box. I'll get through these, but they aren't a must in my gym arsenal.So, my recommendation is buy one bar and see how you like it before shelling out for the box of 12.

Please be aware that when ordering this item you might get sent a box that is out of date.Mine was out of date by about a year, but I didn’t realise until I’d eaten one bar so can’t really comment on the taste because of this. Hopefully the refund process will go smoothly.

Great tasting protein bar to keep you going between meals & also giving you a much needed energy boost.

Outstanding. You won't need many of these on a day's mountain walk! Feels like a whole meal in a bar.
