Run n buff is a product I have used a lot. The ebony is a new product for me and it works exactly like the other colours. Easy to use , goes far and is permanent. The tube will last for ages.

Brilliant! I use a combination of the black and antique gold to get an ‘antique’ look on some items around my old house! Works on various surfaces with the right prep

I brought this to cover some scratches on 4 black matt metal chair legs - I cleaned all legs before applying . It didnt cover and had to over apply and gentle remove excess as it was drying being very careful not to removed all the product. The second coat removed the first coat . I’ve used rub and buff before and have been pleased with finished product, but the ebony it’s nothing like the gold and silver ones. It’s gritty and doesn’t cover well.The finished items are ok , but wasted so much time doing this !I’ve tried it on other items too, wood and plastic and it’s no better. Personally I would buy this colour again.

I used this to "antique" some brass drawer knobs. Worked really well, don't need to use too much either so good value for money. Hopefully this now meets the community guidelines as apparently my last review was a bit spicy! How can one avoid double entendres with this product?!

I have tried several such products and they do work. This specific black one was a disaster. Doesn't paint well, comes off even after leaving it a while and is generally not a good product. Tried on plastic again and again. Would not recommend this specific product. I would return in but it's so small that I ended up using most of it to cover a small surface area again and again.

Contents very watery, colour not mixed in tube or simply 'gone off' Tried to mix on a saucer, still product wouldn't mix so threw in bin.
