I bought this because I like to repot plants, and I have a number of plants I like to work with. But, the space I have to work with is very small and limited. This is a very unique way to keep the dirt in one place while I work. It's big enough to rework the plants, and put them in different pots, even when I am splitting them, and it keeps the table and floor around the area clean. The sides snap together, and while it is not a hard edge, it is enough to keep the dirt in for me. Then when I'm finished repotting, all the dirt is in the mat, and I can shake it into the grass or trash whichever is more appropriate and then just wash the mat off. Then I leave the sides opened and let it dry in the sun. It's sturdy, and when I put it on the table, I put heavy 6, 8 and 10 inch pots filled with potting soil or orchid soil, and it holds up just fine with no rips or tears. I have used it a number of times, and I can still fold it up neatly when it dries and put it right back in the package it came from.

I replanted some plants and this worked well. It contained the dirt, easy clean up and washed clean so easy. Folds up small to put away. I love this product.

Great little invention to create such a repotting mat to use within your own home instead of having to go outside to do all your repotting. The green mat is thick and comes with a pair of wool gloves, 2 little shovels, a small rake, and its easy to transport to and fro outside. The repotting mat is easy to clean by wiping it off with a cloth, no need to wash it in washer ever, just a good rinse in the tub if you live in an apt or if in a home, you can go outside and rinse with the water hose. Great price and great functional product!

I loved this mat. I love you can easily snap up the corners. I used it to transport flowers in the back of my car. I wish it was a little bigger. A good purchasae. May try to find another larger one. Would definitely recommend. Is easy to clean. Has a strap you can fold it back up and make it compact for storage.

Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best. The corners snap together so that when you lay it on the table you can work and the dirt stays put. It folds away when not in use. It was well priced and I would certainly recommend it.
