Good little hammer
Good lightweight hammer, bought for a craft project for my 7 year old, perfect for the job.

Lightweight, yet strong.
Ideal for tapping in the wooden stretcher tags on the back of a canvas. Plus, great for delicate jobs such as 'hammering' small pins in decorative woodwork.

A hammer review
It's a hammer. It does the job well. Nicely balanced and fits good in your hand

Just the job for panel pins
Used the hammer to attached moulding to skirting board using panel pins, perfect for the job, as some reviews had said handle did seem long, however when holding at the end of the handle gives more leverage to hammer

Soft and not durable
This is going to be quick. 1) looks nice and is lightweight 2) after a few nails (5 in my case), the head was so mashed up, it started to slip off the nails and became a risk to my fingers and walls. So I've just added it to the pile of tools in storage for my partner to bite my head off about later. I personally wouldn't recommend, seems too soft.

Junk, Dont bother! Shame on Hilka!
Junk, dont bother wasting your time or money. I normally choose Hilka for good quality, how wrong I was this time! Their quality has dropped terribly. The hammer head fell off after its 3rd use, it wasnt even heavy use as its only a small hammer. The head is glued on!! How ridiculous!!! I bought some wedges, cleanded the end of the handle, put some glue around and the drove the wedge in. It is now solid. Cost me a whole 40p for the wedge. Shame on Hilka for skimping on 40 pence for the sake of a wedge and doing it properly. I have since stopped buying Hilka products.
