Q: Can it easily cut through Potatoes?

Yes it can. It's a very sharp and sturdy knife, and we've used it to cut potatoes, onions, cucumbers, and many other items. We're very happy with this knife and I highly recommend it. We also bought the steak knives which cut through meat like butter.

Q: What is the actual lenght of the knife, it states three and one half inches which I assume is the blade lenght?

It's actually a 3 3/4" length cutting edge which is even better for me. The entire knife is 8" at the longest measurement.

Q: Is this knife suitable for left handed individuals?

Yes! I bought the knife for my left handed girlfriend.

Q: Looking forward to receiving my knife! Any idea where can I get a sheath w/ a beltloop?

Lots of folks make sheaths. You can buy a crappy sheaths or have a high quality leather one made. Ido make them myself

Very easy to use

We needed new knives for the kitchen and my wife said she really needs a paring knife so I bought this one because it seemed to be of good quality. And I wasn't wrong at all! This blade is exceptional!! We only used it for peeling potatoes, apples and mangos so far but I can see it makes a huge difference from our old knife! Strongly recommend this product, you won't be sorry. It's top quality, easy to use, scalpel sharp blade, everything you want in a knife!

Best paring knife ever? Probably...

Practical and beautiful handle. Excellent Damascus work on the very, very sharp blade. Preparing a very crisp apple for a toddler took hardly any time at all. The value for money is surely unbeatable.My only regret is that I did not buy this knife when I first saw it! It is exceptional in every positive way.

A small knife you will love

If you invest in one paring knife, this should be it.I bought this one because it seemed to be of good quality, and my wife loves it. This blade is exceptional!We used it for peeling potatoes, fruits... and it makes a big difference with other similar knives.We really recommend it and the quality-price is superb.
