Are these black inside?

I bought the black version so they were. But as the fabric is a single cotton layer I imagine they’ll be the same on the inside as they are on the outside. So I guess the camo design, for example, will be same inside as out. Hope that helps.

Are they a thick fabric or thin?

Quite thick and very comfortable, best I've had. Always size down with boxers.

Depends how snug you want them. XL is for 36-38 and XXL is for 38-40
