I previously wrote a negative review about this product as I was genuinely disappointed with it, but upon reading my review, the company got in touch with me and I tried another tin and it was much, much better than the first one. My original review is below and it seems I was just unlucky to have received an anomalous batch as the new one I tried is much nicer, brighter, tastes a lot smoother and more delicious, definitely what I'd expect from a top quality matcha. Very happy with the product and the company as a whole. It's pricey, but I will definitely be buying another one after I'm finished with this one. I do wish I could rate it 4.5 or even 4.9 as I feel I still have to factor in the original bad batch. But given the much better second tin and the excellent customer service, I don't think it would be right to rate it 4 stars, so I'm going with 5. Either way, this is a great matcha and I'm very pleased with it. Original review: 'According to their website, OMGTEA know what makes a good matcha, fine powder, bright, flourescent green, lovely smooth taste. But this product is none of those things. It's grainy and so it's harder to mix than every other matcha I've tried, it's dark green and has an overly earthy, not so pleasant taste. If I did a blind taste test, I would never guess this was matcha. This is easily the worst matcha I've bought on Amazon and the most expensive. Very disappointing, will definitely not be buying anything from OMGTEA again.'

Very nice, blends smoothly and creates a nice foam. I paired it with oat milk in a strawberry iced latte (my go-to). It has a milder taste than others I have tried but it there is nothing to complain about! Not bitter. Has a vibrant colour (the picture doesn’t do it justice). I will repurchase.

This was my first time trying matcha, and I was honestly a bit worried about how it would taste. But to my surprise, it was really good! The flavor is smooth, not too bitter, and blends perfectly into a latte. I love how vibrant and fresh it looks, which shows its quality. Now, I’m totally hooked and will definitely keep using it! If you’re new to matcha like me, this is a great one to start with. Highly recommend!

I bought this tea after reading an article in Prima magazine about the company & lady that started it. I've been drinking green tea for many years, way before it became fashionable or any heath benefits were on my radar, I just drink it because I like it & buy loose green tea, which I use most & bags for when out & about. I don't drink 'normal tea' or coffee, just green or tap water. The OMG T is very surprising as never used a powder before, not as easy as leaves or bags for sure, but got it right after the 1st couple of cups, just drank 1 cup a day in the morning. Very bright green & smells & tastes lovely, but I absolutely DID NOT feel any different from drinking it, was hoping for the energy boost people talked of, that didn't happen. 1 pot give you 30 cups but I have only done only 20 days (I have a 1/2 teaspoon measure & level it) & defiantly don't have enough in the tin for another 10 cups. Nice but honestly couldn't say i'd be able to recommend it to anyone.

Probably one of the best brand Matcha’s I have tasted. Really smooth and has an almost sweet but earthy taste. Really impressed with my purchase. I’m drinking this Matcha daily and will definitely be purchasing more!

This is an enjoyable matcha. Smooth, great colour depth and flavour. However, the current price is entirely unjustifiable. This product has increased in price the last two times I’ve purchased it. Charging £43 now - an increase of nearly £10 since my purchase in August is exorbitant and too expensive for this product.

Best quality product

First of all I love the design of the tin, I think I'll keep it! Matcha colour is lovely. It was a special occasion so I used it for my matcha roll cake and a matcha latte. The colour is a beautiful green. Smells lovely and it's very easy to use. Don't take in too much at once because I think the caffeine could get quite strong! I think I would definitely buy this again 😊

I have to admit that it took me a long time to find the right matcha on amazon. This is my second purchase from this company. I previously bought matcha 30g (dark green packaging). The color is very intense green which reflects the quality of the product. I will definitely buy matcha from this company. Worth attention. I would recommend.

compre otro te matcha, de otra marca, que decia era de calidad alta, pero ahora veo que no lo era, comparando con este, se nota mucho. este te OMG, tiene un color mucho mas verde, el olor es mas fresco, el sabor mucho mas agradable y se nota tambien en la consistencia al mezclarlo con agua, hace mas espuma. el envase esta muy bien, viene en una lata estanca, que esbastante bonita para poner en la repisa. me gustaria que viniera con un colador o tamiz incorporado, seria un salto de calidad. Lo recomiendo
