KO-LEE Crunch & Munch Instant Noodles – Hot & Spicy Flavour | 3-in-1 Snack, Stir-Fry or Soup | MSG-Free | 85g (Pack of 24) : desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: They made fantastic low cost noodles - As someone who is having money problems, I appreciate these noodles, they are cheaper than several other brands, but taste miles better. Specifically, hot means not, not mild. Come with sachet packs and oil and the oil (unlike other noodle packs i've bought) make a big different. Having said that, while I like these do prefer their own brand Green Curry ones, those are top notch. If you like noodles, these are the ones to get, low cost and taste good, fill you up, easy to make, no fuss. Review: All is good - Very pleased. Advertised as being hot and they do pack a bit of punch, pretty surprising for an instant product. The flavour compliments the texture of the noodles really well. Excellent as snack or for addition to meal. Packaging is compact and easy to store. Superb delivery as usual. Just great, thank you!

Not bad, decent enough quality.
These are nice but they aren't a patch on my favourite Nasi Goreng noodles by Indomie. That's perhaps a preference thing, but I also have to say that they are also pipped to the post on quality by Indomie as well! The noodles themselves have a fair flavour and are decent enough quality. There are two sachets included with these noodles, one being a very orange oil with very gritty bits of presumably chilli, and some chunks of perhaps garlic or ginger within it (after eating over half of them I still haven't worked out which one it is). The other is a flavour sachet of dry seasoning. I find that the oil sachet is a pain to get all the bits out of, a lot of the gritty spices refuse to leave the sachet. In terms of flavour, the end seasoned noodles are really rather strange. There's really no heat and they have a flavour I just can't describe. The first packet I tasted, I wasn't overly impressed but they've grown on me over time and I quite like them. I'm not sure if I would buy them again though. The price on these was very good when I bought them though so for what I paid, I'm happy enough.

Very tasty but not that spicy
These are definitely worth the price! Wouldn't say they're 'xtreme hot & spicy' as the packaging describes but there is a little kick of spices. Starting to wonder if it's just my tongue that's the problem as I have yet to find truly spicy noodles. These are very tasty and the noodles are very good quality! You can definitely taste salt in the broth though, so if you don't like that you now know to avoid. I'd really recommend these for good, high quality and cheap noodles!

Cheap noodles
Good value for money, taste better than better known brands, this and the chicken flavour are good if you are an impoverished student needing a quick snack between lectures. Expect all noodles to be in packets and not plastic containers that you pour hot water in soon, as the risks of heating plastic become more widely known

Consider reading this review, and trying them before buying in bulk
When something is advertised as being "XTREME HOT & SPICY" you at least expect it to taste moderately hot, this is obviously not the case with these as I found out myself and as many other reviewers have pointed out. I would be embarassed to tell my Uni-dorm roommates that these are even "spicy" to be totally honest. The noodles themselves are fairly average; not as thin and soggy as generic supermarket noodles but not so large that you can't wrap them around your fork. At the price I paid (including 5% student discount) they were exactly the same price-per-packet as what supermarkets are selling them at. This is unusual for a grocery product sold by Amazon since they are typically marked up by 200-300%. It's very convenient buying from Amazon, especially with Prime because overnight delivery means they could arrive a mere 12 hours after you click "buy" (depending on where you live, of course). What really rescued these for me and made them worth the money was that the the TWO included flavour sachets. One contains the standard mix of assorted seasoning and powder, the other has vegetable oil as well as Chilli. These sachets are generously sized which means you can add as much as you want depending on your taste. However, as stated before, these flavourings are definitely not hot, at least when diluted by the reccomended 300ml of water per packet is added. Even though these are very flavourful, I personally I like to add my own "XTREME" hot seasonings as well as a small dollop of sauce in addition to the sachets provided. This is simply because I eat alot of ramen and they can start to taste bland otherwise, so it's not compulsory. Although I won't be buying another 24 packet box of these, I'm content with the purchase. I'll simply buy individual packets from the supermarket if I ever want to try them again. What would be very nice is If KO-LEE offered a 24 pack variety box that includes 8 packets of each of the varieties of "GO Noodles" they currently sell. I'm sure this would be "XTREME" popular with customers. I would certainly use the subscribe-and-save promotion to buy one box per month in that case.

I first tried these in prison and have loved them ever since
The first time I tried these was in prison. They were on the canteen sheet so I gave them a try. You can use kettle water. We didn't have access to a microwave in the secure prisons. They cook well and taste great. There are no other noodles that can match these. I've been buying them ever since, and love them. They're better when cooked on the hob. Their chicken ones are great too.
