Why did you choose this product over others?: I've always had this plant food as it does a very good job and the plants always seem to thrive on it and look healthy . What's not to like, it'll always be my go to plant food.

As some others have said, it does leak around the hose connector and trigger. However, if you grip the green collar around the hose connector and carefully tighten the connector with a spanner, it stops the leaks. I think the sealing washer is a bit hard and just needs that extra bit of squashing. Other than that, a good bit of kit. Easier than messing around and having to store crystals.

I was fed up with adding feed to a watering can and meticulously feeding individual plants... it took ages. So this automatic feeder seems like the answer to my lazy gardening prayers. Just screw the bottle of feed (one included) onto the yellow spray thingy to "feed" and then just water away. There is a rotating selector, where, feed, water, or off may be selected. Our garden beds and rockery are fairly bijou at about 25 square metres and took about 10 minutes to feed / water. So, I don't know what will happen next, but I hope that the flowers will now grow to the height of the Eiffel tower and be like giant bean stalks (hopefully without the evil giant living at the top). 25 square metres took about half of a bottle of feed, so feeding will not be cheap, but hopefully effective. The recommendation is to feed every 1 or two weeks. The feed bottles are meant to be non refillable, however I imagine that it will not be beyond my ingenuity to devise a tight-fisted way around that. The spray nozzle may be rotated to provide different spray patterns and apparently feeding both leaves and roots will keep your plants in a state of horticultural bliss.

Terrible design, leaks like mad. This should click into a standard Hoselock type attachment, but I turned it on and it leaked water everywhere.

Have used this system successfully for two or three years, but having recently replaced the delivery gun it proved to be "not fit for purpose". I always turn off the water supply when swapping the normal hose nozzle for the Miraclegro gun in order to avoid the "drenching" experienced by other reviewers, but on its third use the plastic insert at the connection point shattered and it cannot be replaced rendering the gun useless. I also find it annoying that the feed container cannot be refilled. It all adds up to the use of poor quality plastic, poor design coupled with built in obsolescence. The only saving grace is the undoubted convenience in use.

Dispenser is well made and effective. The feed seems to work if used regularly.

Soldi buttati. Perde acqua da tutte le parti, inutilizzabile. Mai vista una cosa così scadente. Purtroppo ho rotto la confezione e non posso neanche restituirlo

Ayant une tendinite aux épaules je le trouvait difficile de porter l'arrosoir plein d'eau pour nourrir mes plantes. Avec ce kit je n'ai plus plus de problème. Un des meilleurs achats que j'ai fait depuis un bon moment. Je le conseille fortement.
