I bought this George Foreman outdoor/indoor electric barbecue 2 years ago, did get the XL grill plate one, my husband LOVES it and so do I, so much so we haven’t used a charcoal barbecue for a while now. The XL grill plate hold lots of meat, or meat and vegs, we haven’t done fish on it yet, it cooks to perfection leaving the meat very tender, that melt in the mouth kind of feeling, it gets rid of fat which runs down into a small tray, it does produce smoke but not as much as a charcoal barbecue would. This barbecue is portable, we have used it indoors in to our utility room and it hasn’t let us down, we just keep the windows open, it hasn’t product much smoke at all and if you plan a barbecue with family or friends, come rain or shine it’s never a problem as you have either options! So easy to clean too, just use a non abrasive dish cloth in very warm soapy water and once the plate has cooled down but still warm to the touch, it’ll come out as new! This is a fantastic barbecue and definitely great value for money! Highly recommend.

Item was good but proved too large for motorhome use so returned

This electrical grill is great, I got it for my partner and he loves using it. Cleaning it is also very easy!

I initially purchased a different make of one of these from Amazon which I had to return due to its poor performance. Still waiting for a refund from the seller however, but Amazon are on it. Because I wanted a portable indoor grill/griddle, I then decided - after reading the reviews - that maybe this GF could fit the bill. It arrived quickly, and was well packaged. It does a great job of grilling, and the useful feature of being able to operate the griddle separately was what did it for me. Heats up very quickly, is not smokey in use, has good heat controls, and is mega easy to clean after use. Residual heat helps keep cooked food warm until served. Ticked all the boxes for me. The large plate capacity is great for cooking lots of things at once. Should have got this in the first place really. Very happy with its performance so far.

The design is not 100% perfect. The grill would sit the wrong way and oil will leak unless its adjusted so the oil goes into the tray

i'd say it's average. It does the trick, heat up very quickly but not sure why if one tries to cook a second batch of meat or if it takes too long to cook, then it turns off and nothing cooks any more. All in all, it's good to cook something small quickly, so there is no bad smell in the kitchen, but don't plan on a big bbq with it.

Ich bin mit dem Georg Foreman sehr zufrieden. Man muss auf die zweite Platte aufpassen, da sie auch erwärmt wird, obwohl der Schalter auf Null steht.
