Can i mount this on a wall to light the room, does each lights rotate 360? I have a small conservatory. 4mX4m. Glass roof.

Yes they move 360° In the plain of the bracket. Might be a bit of glare though, they are quite focussed. Be aware they are sealed units, you cannot replace the bulbs. Maybe an uplighter might provide a more uniform light? Just a thought.

can this light be fitted on a wall?

Don't see why not..the cover is held onto the fixing by 2 small screws. Fixing would fit on the wall ok and cover should go on without any problem. Gives a good light although not sure where you would direct the lights.. up would be best I guess..

How suitable are they over a bed for reading?

I have single spotlight of this type in bedroom. They are used for reading. The light intensity is enough. It suites our needs. However you should carefuly choose the place installation as rotation is a little bit less than 360. In addition you should think about power switch and power supply. If you are not good in this area consult electrician.

I want a dual fitting in which each light can be individually switched on/off

The older version of this which I have has three lights and they cannot be switched off individually.
