Good sturdy shower seat.
This is a good sturdy shower seat which is easy to fit and use. When folded it takes up very little room in a shower cabinet. The seat is also removable from its attachment bracket, giving even more space. This seat is modern looking and great value for money

Stylish and effective.
I only have a smallish shower enclosure which won't fit a stand alone chair in it. This seemed an excellent replacement and it is! I'm so pleased with it in every way. Seat down its plenty big enough and strong enough for my ample rear. Seat folded up it is small, neat and unobtrusive. I fitted it myself (74 year old female) without any problems. I tried a no 10 drill bit and, whilst it makes fitting somewhat easier, the recommended no 9 bit gives a far more secure fit. Yes the seat flexes down slightly when you sit on it but it feels safe and comfortable. Will be so easy to clean as well. 5* all round.

Sturdy, stylish and easy to fix
This shower seat is a foldable HD plastic smooth edged and smart looking. You will need a 9mm drill and a philips head screw driver to fit it (I used a dab of plumbers' calk on each screw hole too). It is supplied with 5x 4 inch screws and 9mm long rawl plugs to hold it up with confidence. I beleive its 160kg (25 stone) rating (but only when screwed into brick). It has a 9inch depth of (non slip) main seat not including its extra 1.5 inch hinge bulge which gives a back-to-seat edge space of ~10.5 inches, so that is more likely to limit very large customers than the weight tolerance. It is easy to wipe dry. When folded (easy with 1 finger tip) it is less deep than even a low profile bath edge, and is discrete and looks smart.RECOMMENDED

After drilling your 9mm holes, use a 10mm drill for the the tiles else the plugs will not go in.
Not used in anger yet but have sat on it, so cautious 4* on Durability and Comfort but have no doubt it’ be fine. I’m 5’11” and my wife 5’, fitted ours at a seat height of 550mm. Overall 4* because the fitting instructions are inaccurate. 9mm drill size is OK for the deep hole behind the tiles and for the initial hole through the tile surface. However, if you try and insert the very large and rigid wall plugs through a 9mm hole you will have great difficulties and may damage the tiles when hammering the plug into the wall. Simple solution, use a 10mm drill just through the tile surface, say, to a depth10mm. Also, depending on how smooth the surface of your tiles, do not overtighten the screws without first checking that the seat will slot into the gap between the tiles and the seat bracket.
