PDTXCLS Complete Candle Making kit. Moulds, Votive, jug, 2.5Kg Wax Makes 50 Candles

I'm delighted with this kit, I think it's great value for money. It has everything you need and was exactly as advertised. It also arrived only a few days after ordering and well before the expected arrival date. I've made about 4 different types of candles so far and they've come out so well that my friends thought one of them was shop bought and that was on my first try! The moulds are easy to use, the instructions are clear and I've had no problems with leakage. At first I wasn't keen on the colour blocks given as I thought the colours were strange and didn't have the nicest scent but after experimenting with them, the colours given provide you with a few options and smell lovely when diluted with the wax. I'll definitely be buying more supplies from these guys.

I liked that there was alot in the kit. I also liked that the mold are available separately if you prefer a certain type, on the Carron Valley site, The kit is thoroughly comprehensive for candle making and the lovely scented blocks were a pleasant surprise. Value for money and a great enjoyable past time.

If you want to get started making candles, while also wanting a wide selection of moulds and other tools to carry on in the future, this is an excellent kit. It arrived very promptly from the seller and has a wonderful selection of moulds for making a whole range of container of votive candles, enough wax to last you a while (although the 50 candle claim seems a bit of a push, you would have to really like making tea lights!) as well as enough wick and wick holders to start your collection. The jug is really well shaped for pouring your wax, and the thermometer is extremely useful and responsive, so you have no excuse if your wax ignites!I have made several candles since receiving this kit and they are, thus far, all very nice, pleasant and professional looking and smell great.The only criticism I have of this product is that the instruction booklet is a bit lacking, particularly when it comes to suggesting weights and volumes of wax and scents. So if you want to develop this as a hobby, I would suggest pairing it with a book from somewhere else. Overall though a brilliant starter kit, or for someone looking to acquire a larger selection of moulds.

Very comprehensive instructions are provided with this kit. Everything you need to make candles is included. We thoroughly enjoyed our very first candle making session on Christmas Day and followed that up with another batch on Boxing Day. We even made some in glass jars and a baking tin. Excellent quality products. Be sure to follow the instructions if it is your first time. Use the thermometer that is included to give you peace of mind and to avoid boiling the wax. The finished products are just as one would expect to find in a high quality store. I absolutely recommend this as a present. We have already made presents for friends. I cannot fault this kit.

Excellent starter kit with lots of content. The scents are amazing! The kit lets you try making lots of different types of candle and the instructions are nice and clear. Think it will take a while to master the moulds but I am delighted with the kit.

I'm a complete novice in candle making I just received my kit and it looks great there's absolutely everything here that's mentioned on the YouTube tutorials plus there is an instruction booklet included for quick and easy reference, so really excited about getting started with this lovely candle making set

Have now made 2 candles from old wax, both normal and scented, as well as two bags of the provided paraffin wax.Originally didn't come with the ball mould however upon leaving feedback to this effect, I was contacted by the seller apologising for the error and have received both the ball mould and another I presume by way of apology.Very happy with the kit and its satisfying to give my GF back full candles from the stuff she would have otherwise thrown out.

The kit itself is very good, all the tools you need are there and instructions are very clear, however it is let down by the strength of the included scent blocks. Once this is mixed, the candles set and you start to burn the candle the scent is gone. Which is very disappointing. Also there is no indication of what the scent is.......
