This is one of the cheaper loft ladders so I knew I may be taking a chance but it is well made and I find it pretty sturdy and I’m average height and weight. The instructions are pretty good but need careful reading as you go along so not to miss a step.Biggest bit for me was adapting the trapdoor size but I managed it ok,just measure carefully. Overall good value for money.

Does what says on the tin. Easy install easy use

After getting a few quotes to get the loft boarded with ladder & light, I looked up if DIY for a first timer was practical. Fast forward 3 days and I managed to board the central part of the loft and even installed a light. Initially, I borrowed a telescopic ladder from my neighbour and would have bought the same if not for the weight and the loud clicking/clanking whilst retracting. The timber types would require a new hatch and cutting into the ceiling, something I couldn't imagine being able to do myself. So extensive googling (or Amazoing, at least a part) landed me here. Assembly: Frankly, it took more time trying to understand the instructions than the actual assembly which was minimal because I didn't need to install the included hatch catch/lock. Installation: It couldn't have taken any more than 45 minutes to install the ladder. The ladder angle is to be adjusted when fixing it to the loft floor. There's a guide sticker on the side of the ladder which I'd suggest following. Another reviewer has written about the ladder coming off the sliding rail if stowed away speedily. I reckon that's because they have not installed the 'bottom stops'. Ladder: It's very light weight and a bit rattly (if that's even a word). The steps/rungs aren't deep and wearing flex sole footwear helps. It said to support 150 kg and I wouldn't doubt it. I'm just under 90 kg and feel confident climbing up and down. The stowing hook should be used with the open side facing up, otherwise the ladder is likely to slip off the hook which may cause injury. Final thoughts: I have deducted a star because of the rather shallow steps/rungs and a bit iffy sliding mechanism. BUT this ladder still represent, IMHO, money's worth. The 5 years warranty is there should it break. Thank You for reading.

Good item, well made and easy to install. Can be installed either attached to the loft hatch or not. I opted not to attach to the hatch.

Very good . Delivery very prompt. Instructions simple and straightforward. Easy to install. Perfect for the job. Just one little point. To stow the ladder you sort of need 3 hands. Lower down I can use my knee to raise the sections but higher up you almost have to be a contortionist. It’s not insurmountable. I will attach a bungee cord to assist but from a design point of view it’s not absolutely perfect.

Peut-être un peu étroite, mais fonctionne parfaitement et supporte mes 92kg. Parfait pour l'usage occasionnel que j'en fait.

een mooie prijs kwaliteit verhouding . Eenvoud en praktisch. De keren dat ik per jaar op de zolder moet zijn kan ik op 1 hand tellen dus wilde ik niet teveel spenderen . Zover is het degelijk en completer dan ik had verwacht . trap en mechanisme voor een luik ( die van mij zat er al alleen de trap was na 20 jaar wel op ) en zelfs een stang met haak om het luik als men er niet bij kan open te maken.

La escalera en un principio no esta nada mal,sino fuera porque vino con un defecto en uno de los largueros del último escalón,donde van las guías que hacen de bisagra.Por lo tanto no pasa la guía y creo que le resta seguridad por el sitio en donde esta localizada la hendidura, por lo tanto tengo que devolverla. Deberían de revisar mejor las cosas,porque me da la impresión que se ha sido usada,aunque el defecto puede ser de fábrica,pues venia con rebabas de aluminio,o como si alguien la mordiera.El aluminio un poco fino y para un uso ocasional puede valer.La devolvere y haber si la siguiente no viene con defectos y la puedo montar. Edito de nuevo a 08-02-2022, perdonar por tardar en volver a opinar. La escalera me ha sido cambiada y funciona perfecta , colocación fácil y muy manejable en esos sitios de difícil acceso. Podía ser un poco mas fuerte , pues una vez estirada del todo parece endeble, pero la llevo usando desde el 2019 y a día de hoy va de cine, y usar la uso más a menudo de lo que pensaba. Tienen unos cerrojos de seguridad a ambos lados de la escalera, lo cual esta muy bien. Instrucciones un poco escasas , solo dibujos y poca explicación , pero se puede montar por ellas. Contento y recomiendo si tienes una altura de no más de 3 meros entre tú suelo y el suelo del desván.
