They ticked all my boxes.
I don't need loud speakers. Playing music in a band I have ample different types of speakers. I've been using two Behringer B210D's through a mobile pre on my computer. They are great for playing music and videos. Only they are too big and loud. They are also not very good for music production. I decided to look for something that would double as pc speakers and production monitor speaker. The Behringer MS20's was a bit cheap but with the Amazon 30 day guarantee. I figured I'd give them a whirl. I'm glad I did. I'm picking up on new sounds and instruments in albums I've listened to for decades. They are on par with a set of £300 Mission speakers a friend has. Sound wise at least. They don't blast out and handle bass subpar at volume. All this doesn't affect me. As my listening area is close to the speaker set. Don't get me wrong. They are loud enough to fill the room. I'm 100% happy with my purchase. It's great listening to my favourite albums close to how the producers intended. I gave them there first trial run with Pink Floyd's Live at Pompeii. I was very impressed. Easily pleased? Try them out for yourself and let me know.Don't forget they are near field and won't sound as intended at a far or in an open area. Make sure you read the product description so you know exactly what your getting. They ticked all my boxes and they was cheaper the expected. Bonus!Have a nice day (I hope this information is useful to somebody).

Nice speakers for home entertainment system
I was looking for a digital amp and speakers for a MythTV front-end, and found these. It turns out to make the ideal partner to a big wide-screen monitor. I'm now using the optical S/PDIF input (free of all the usual motherboard noise) and getting lovely clean sound out - much better than the display's 5-watt built-in speakers. Bass in particular is much richer. The only downside is when watching news programs - you can hear all the papers being shuffled in the background! You might want something with higher output if you have a really big TV room, or if you like the cinema experience, but for me they are quite nice at about 40% of maximum output from about 4 metres away.Do shop around, because prices vary wildly (even within Amazon).

great kit
brilliant combo to stick in a study filled with computers where you want some decent audio. saves separate amp/speakers and better than tinny PC stuff. I switch everything into a monitor via HDMI. then use a box which extracts the digital audio signal from the HDMI and put into this. Bingo - as you switch HDMI the audio changes. Though this kit can also handle about 4 different audio inputs (two digital two analog) and switch between them. Great sound quality and volume is way more than I can use. wont help you with a full surround system though if that's what you need - I use some headphones for that.

Just the job
I've been wanting a pair of monitor speakers for 'yonks' but which to buy...do I go really expensive and risk being disappointed? OR do I get some 'computer speakers' and know I'll be disappointed???These little rascals not only look the part, they deliver as well. The OPTICAL input is a real bonus..BUT. don't take my word for it, I would recommend you get some and try them

Value for money
Overall, good quality speakers. Small enough to fit in a small home studio with bass and treble controls as well as two inputs. Not extremely heavy. Sound quality is above average. A good choice if you have limited space in your studio

Nice for the price
I use them as computer speakers and also for my Aleca to play music. Bit base heavy and if you want to drive them really loud they will break up but drivin at a reasonable level they re excellent.

Excellent speakers
Very nice sound, size and shape for a computer speaker set up, you won't need more if you have neighbours you care about
