Q: This board has arrived without any care instructions. Can it be put in washing up? Needs oiling??

I've used this board quite a lot and after use I don't submerge it fully in the washing up bowl water, I just wipe it down with the hot soapy water and then dry immediately. After many uses/washes, I personally don't think the wood needs oiling. Hope this helps?

Q: How long does this last with regular use of a cleaver?

I personally wouldn't use with clever just light cutting. Not strong enough.

Q: Can the tray be cleaned in the dishwasher??

I have always popped it in the dishwasher with no problems at all

Q: Does the tray rust and bend ?

Hey, well I’ve had mine for about 7/8 years and it hasn’t got a speck of rust on it and it hasn’t bent. As soon as I finish using it I wash and dry it and put it away with my other chopping boards. I love it. I saw Nigella using one and I had to have it, if it’s good enough for her... 😉
