Hi. Do these leave a sheen like graphite ?

Have just tried comparing with ordinary faber castell 9000 pencil - and the answer is that the faber aquarelle has a similar sheen to the ordinary pencil until you add water and then it becomes a matt finish on the paper.

is the graphite still erasable once it has been wet?

I would say you can work into a bit but not completely when it has been wet.
