Q: Is this kettle stainless steel on the inside ?

No. The element is covered by stainless steel but the inside of the kettle is plastic.

Q: Does this kettle pour water without any leaking from spout.(as my last one did after 2 months use,not this make)hence looking for a new one .

I am on my second one, both ok for a while but leak within a year

Q: Are there any bad tastes from this kettle in your tea/coffee - I am having some difficulty locating a kettle which does not suffer from this problem.

Although this question is 4 years old, we purchased this kettle a couple of days ago and after following the instructions to boil and empty a full kettle three times there is still a nasty residual taste in our tea and coffee. After seeing a remark where there was no after taste we took the gamble to buy the kettle. Wish I hadn't now!

Q: Whats the minimum fill level? I'm trying to find a kettle where I can boil just one cup of water if necessary. Thanks

As well as the above answers, it has a flat plate element so you don't have to worry about filling it enough to cover the element.
