Love this cream
This, for me, is the best moisturiser with sun screen. It isn't as greasy as other moisturisers containing SS I have used in the past and it does sink in quite quickly. You can apply make up over without any balling up of foundation. More importantly, it doesn't sting my eyes as every moisturiser with SS I've tried so far has. It also doesn't leave a white cast where others have. It makes my skin feel very hydrated. This is the AM moisturiser and this is the 2nd one I have purchased and will definitely buy again. I would like to also add that I have also purchased the PM Cerave which is lovely, I use it on the days when I am not using my Retin A, so it lasts and lasts. It's texture is quite light, not greasy and sinks in quickly.

Buy it
If your looking for a sunscreen that moisturizes get this one. The white cast is minimal if nearly nothing at all. SPF 30 is great. And it as niacinamide in it which is great for reducing oil production in the skin and soothing the skin and for acne . It is fragrance free which is what you want. Cerave is great been using there face wash too for “normal to oily skin “

Frustrating
This facial cream is extremely thick and leaves a noticeable white residue on my eyebrows and chin. It does feel ok after it soaked in but I have to wipe my eyebrows and white patches with a towel. The pump mechanism is also frustratingly ineffective—I have to unscrew the bottle and tap it upside down just to get any product out. Overall, not worth the hassle. Update: I emailed CervaVe directly and I was informed that: ArryBarry Ltd is not an authorised retailer of CeraVe products.

Disappointed :-(
I absolutely love Cerave pm and had heard good things about this, so thought I would give it a try as I enjoy the ceramide & niacinamide combination, and even at the over-inflated UK price it's pretty good value (for 89ml, versus 50-ish ml in most other sun screens). Although it's frighteningly white on application this sinks in after a few seconds so you're not left with the dreaded ghostly looking face. I have normal/combination skin and found it pleasant to apply - not too thick, and left my skin feeling comfortably moisturised without being over shiny. There are a couple of downsides though - firstly, if you apply even a little too much or on top of something it doesn't play nicely with, it pills/balls up and comes off in flakes meaning you need to remove it and start your face routine from scratch and secondly, I was left with some white specks on my skin (they looked a bit like the paint splatters you get on the backs of your hands after painting the walls with a roller) which I needed to remove before leaving the house - not sure what these are, perhaps clumps of zinc oxide? - which together make it a faff to apply. I won't be buying this product again and the sunscreen is consigned to my car glove box for use on my hands.

Good stuff
My only suggestion is to not use this straight after shaving as it will sting despite being very good for those with sensitive skin. But I suppose women don't have this problem? (That's not sexist right? Or do women shave now?)A great product, generous product size and overall performance. Recommended as part of a routine with a lighter moisturizer followed by this as a protective lotion. But it's probably fine on it's own - I'm just a massive metrosexual.

Good Lightweight Daily Protection
This is a really nice general purposes daily protective lotion. It's light and nongreasy and I think it makes an ideal base for make up. I have quite dry skin so this isn't quite enough for me during winter in which case I am having to use an oil based serum underneath. The reason I have deducted one star is because this product stings a bit when I first apply it - I do have quite sensitive skin but I was hoping this would be non-reactive. I think this would suit people with oilier skin types.
