An excellent set with the Jacques quality that you expect. I think this is a brilliant set for the family as the mallets are light and sturdy enough for young children to use and allow competitive parents to play too! A fantastic case with sturdy balls and a solid finish post. An excellent wedding present and gift that you will keep.

Made to usual excellent jaqués quality. However it’s very small does not match with our other jaqués set which is now a couple of years old

It’s by no means a professional set (add several hundred pounds for that) and the old adage you get what you pay for rings true. That said it’s a sturdy set perfectly adequate for a fun family game, just don’t be expecting professional grade gear. The mallets aren’t full size for example but are well made and finished in nice wood.I knocked a star off for the bag, the bag itself is fine decent quality with pockets and slots for the equipment, the rule book is a very useful reference. However it’s only a 4 player bag, the additional two mallets and balls are just loose in the bag which isn’t great.

A good set but unfortunately the bag is not sturdy at all, very thin material for such a heavy weight. Contacted the seller but no response.

I know very little about croquet, but it appears a good quality set, together with a robust bag for storage. Perfect and great fun for our Summer BBQ, and I’m sure that it will get a lot more use. My only criticism is that the instructions didn’t say how the hoops should ideally be positioned in the garden.

We have had such fun with this croquet set but we have used it on less than a dozen occasions and already two mallets are broken. Both were broken by teenage girls whilst we were with them and the girls weren't being silly or vicious...just hitting the ball. The balls are also pretty poor as most now have quite big dings in them. Nothing like the indestructible set I grew up with! Undoubtedly you can buy better for your money. Disappointed as I though this was something we would have for keeps not simply for one summer.

very nice croquet set bought as present for husband - he is really pleased with it. initially some of the mallets came apart after one or two uses but we were sent replacements very quickly which have been absolutely fine. good quality, well priced and I am sure we'll have years of good games with it.

The croquet set arrived even earlier than stated.The set is of high quality and we will have many hours of fun with it. My only complaint is that the shafts of the mallets are too short for adults.
