Excellent quality
Somebody mentioned that this does not make good omelettes as you have to get the pan smoking hot to do that. I beg to differ. Sure, if you're still using a cast iron omelette pan (which takes a lifetime to season but, admittedly, lasts a lifetime, too) and a traditional spit and smoke frying technique, this does not fit the bill. What it does do, however, is achieve a suitable temperature in double quick time, uses less oil (or butter), less fuel and produces light and fluffy omelettes without the leather bottom you get if you leave one in a cast iron pan too long. I am a convert to cooler cooking with quality results. Le Creuset pans are expensive but, to my mind, worth every penny owing to their ease of use and predictable results. I have this pan's bigger brother as well. If I want a griddled steak where I do want smoking hot, I use a Le Creuset cast iron griddle. I have only one criticism of these frying pans and that is that the stainless steel bottoms scratch easily on my gas hob trivets.

My dream pan- finally, got to have it!
I already cooked with it, food tasts amazing after being sautéed in it! I did a veggies and chicken soup- had the chicken lean meat from a previously boiled chicken, had the stock ftom it as well, and I just needed my chopped onions and red peppers sautéed, as well as the other veggies ( a carrot, green peas, baby corn and broccoli small bag from Tesco). All these went on the big pot where I put all cooked and seasoned veggies with the chicken meat, milk and a spoon of salted butter and brought to boil. After simmering for about 10 minutes, you can eat it as it is with croutons or with soda bread and there is an option to purée everything. Anyway, with freshly crushed peppercorns and parsley we had a lovely winter dish, and a healthy one as well.

Really good pan
Im really enjoying cooking with this pan, size is perfect for most of the things I cook, quality is great and it has worked perfectly. Of course you need to know how to use this kind of pan, if not it will be a nightmare, it needs to be hot and oiled before putting any ingredients that way food will not stick (not that much oil needed just a really light layer). Even if something sticks, cleaning is easy as you can use any type of sponge and nothing will happen. (Like the stainless steel scourers)

Stainless steel non coated
Amazing pan , does seem to leave marks after cooking but nothing that affects the performance. This is my first stainless steel pan and I didn’t want to buy a cheap one . After watching a lot of videos I found that oil is your friend with stainless and making sure the pan has heated up before throwing the meat on . So far I’ve cooked chicken breast , steak , bacon and eggs and not one things has stuck. When cooking meat if it’s stuck it means it’s not ready to flip . Steak and chicken will loosen itself when it’s ready . I’m using on a glass hob which is a pain itself as you don’t have the control over the heat but with a bit of testing I’ve found medium to medium high heat works best. After each use I let the pan cool down and clean with soapy warm water then dry and apply a thin layer of olive oil with a bit of kitchen roll ready for next time . I’m happy with my purchase and would purchase again without hesitation

Poor quality for premium brand/price
The media could not be loaded. Bought the Le Creuset 3-ply S/S non stick 24cm in December 2024 from Amazon. Today barely 9 months later the coating is coming off the pan. Does not seem to be worth the premium price. We do not even use it that frequently since it is one of several frying pans, and 'yes' we do put it in the dishwasher, but it's supposed to be dishwasher safe! This is not a good purchase imho.

Top quality pan
This pan is fantastic. Having been impressed by the saucepans for a while, decided to splash out on this frying pan. Having prepped it per the instructions, it cooks at a low-med heat on the induction hob, no sticking whatsoever. No mess at all, it was as though the pieces of meat were ice cubes sliding around while cooking. Meat came out cooked perfectly, not tough at all. Even, direct heat. Handle stays cold. No splashing of oil, used a tiny amount. A revelation! Worth the extra money
