Way smaller than "mini"
Mini does NOT begin to describe these! They're barely 2 inches big! I expected a lot better for our birthday party.

Sturdy but small
These are smaller than I expected, but the kids LOVE them... they're great for little hands and the pages stay in well, they didn't fall out as soon as the kids started turning the pages, like some notepads do.
