PawPaw for the win!
Noise Level 5/10 Not annoying at all Ease of assembly 7/10 very straightforward Size 8/10 I bought the medium and takes a small space in my garage. It was smaller than expected but perfect for my dog. Weight 4/10. It’s on the heavy side so 2 people would be ideal in putting it together. But once it’s setup, that is no longer an issue because the wheels on the base help with that. Speed 10/10 this is basically determined by how fast your dog is willing to go. As they speed up, so does the treadmill and it slows down as the dog slows down. Customer service was also great. It was missing a plastic end cap which doesn’t affect its assembly or performance, more for aesthetics and they are going to send me one. Took about 4 days to get my Pitt puppy to get the this level of consistent walking-jogging. 5 stars well deserved. I highly recommend this

Super happy with the purchase!
We have two 70 lb American staffy/pit mixes and it can be difficult to adequately exercise both of them, especially in the winter. We bought the large treadmill to help supplement their exercise. The box is heavy so it’s a two-person job to assemble but we found it easy to follow the instructions. Overall, the structure of the treadmill is very study and the quality is great. The lack of a brake is my only complaint but we use a chopped closet rod to secure the wheels so the dogs can climb on and off without the belt moving. It has taken just over a week to patiently and slowly train one of the dogs on the treadmill. Day 1-2 was just getting her on and off the treadmill with treats and lots of praise. We introduced some movement on day 3. The video shows how we used a high value reward (ribs!) to encourage her to move on day 5. By day 8, she is happily running and walking on it with only verbal motivation from us. She’s really enjoying it and we are super happy with the purchase! Also, want to mention that the company accidentally shipped us 2 treadmills. We notified them of the mistake but they have a policy of not resending previously opened boxes so they told us to just keep the second one. Love that policy and found their customer service to be quickly responsive.

Great idea ok great manufacturing
First, I will say my dog loves this slatmill and uses it daily. It seems to hold up well from daily use so far and it’s a great way for my dog to burn energy. Now for the not so great. This is a prime example of great idea with just ok execution. The parts were not manufactured to be the exact size as needed, I had to bend some of the parts to get them to fit correctly. Also the instructions are not only lacking but also flat out wrong at times. It seems like there was an update to manufacturing and design that never made it to the instructions. Once you get passed the very tedious process of putting it together it’s actually pretty sturdy. I do with this came with a break functionality that will help slow the mill and keep it from moving when my dog jumps up on it. Big miss/oversight on that. It does work exactly how you’d expect/want and I will be using it in place of walks during summer. Also unless you have a ting dog, just opt for the large. I have a standard medium sized dog and he almost doesn’t fit the medium size.

Well built and practical
It's taken Baelin quite a bit of time before he's gotten really comfortable, even looking forward to his treadmill sessions. He understood and could use it within weeks but just prefers to go outside so he would walk a bit and then stand still. Continued positive exposure has made this well worth the cost It's built very well, sturdy and accommodates Baelin (95 lbs & 28" at his shoulders). It's heavy and doesn't shift while in use. The assembly was a snap, everything fit just right. I've found it especially helpful in rebuilding his strength/stamina after a mandatory rest period. It's not silent but neither is it obnoxiously loud. It's equivalent to ambient noise outside in a populated area.

Dog exercise.
We have a GSP, we live in the upper midwest, she is almost six months old it took about ten minutes for her to get comfortable around the treadmill and my wife sat just in front with our dogs favorite throw dummy and she was off and exercising it is a absolutely god send. Fairly easy to assemble and rock solid. We can't say it enough, with the addition of wheels this treadmill so far is outstanding!

Awesome for our dogs
The pups beat cabin fever and salty paws this year - they love it. Well made and easy to train on. The first to howl gets first run, now they sound like a wolf pack when we say zoom zoom

Not worth it. Save your hard earned money.
For anyone like me who has comfort in being able to return an item if it doesn’t work for you, that mindset ends here. From a business standpoint I get it, but the cost to return ship this back, is the cost of what you are paying for this item ($570+). To the item itself, what I got was wood that was needing to be sanded down (just running my hands on it I could feel the splinters), dented wood slats already needing replacement, the side rails had dents on them (for how well it was shipped I doubt this was from transport), & the wooden runway/belt would graze the bottom legs holding it up. In regard to the handymen in previous reviews who made this item work for them, 1- that’s great, but I’m not a handyman, & 2- I disagree with their loose excuses of “it’s not the high end product, so what do you expect”. Ask any woman out there, if you are buying a dupe product, you still expect the dupe product to work && not have to put so much work into making the product function for what you need. This product in my opinion is not worth it. Save your hard earned money & go ahead & buy the high end product that’s built right. (& yes my return request was approved by seller however, again, there was 0 point in me trying to ship it back due to cost. Even rhe UPS workers who tried to help me said it wasn’t worth the cost & were genuinely concerned for how much I was going to have to pay.)

This is an exceptional slatmill for the low price. I bought the upgraded version with plastic slats and handbrake and I couldn't be happier. Both of my dogs, one of which is a tripod, use this mill and love running on it. It was easy to put together even as one person and it is very sturdy and heavy duty. I am very happy with it.

This must have been an updated version; some of the negative reviews have made me very hesitant in making this purchase. However, I took the chance and I am happy I did. The mill is amazing. no room in the middle for my puppy's paws to get stuck ( as one of the reviews claimed). The hand break is perfect as it allows just enough tension to where the dog has to slow down but doesn't necessarily stop. Overall 6 out of 5 stars. Great product, was sent with fed ex required signed delivery so a lot of the concerns i had prior to placing the order turned out to be alright.

Waiting to hear back from the company. Wheel barring are so tight, this is incredibly hard to push, I run a business and this was a crazy investment for it NOT to work. Not to mention now having to cancel all my pet parents who have signed up for slatmill sessions. It’s hard to push, no dog will be able to run, it’s slanted as well so the slats hit the wheel off and on. Overall so disappointed, I wanted to love it as a family run buisness.
