Case doesn't stretch out and loosen up like silicone OtterBox cases and maintains conformity to phone/screen protector after 3+ years. Just discarded the original case today for a new one and only having been replaced due to failing screen protector. Also is reasonably thin, I don't like overly bulky cases, and needing to have a reliable case for a high intensity work place limits my options, this case is a happy medium and doesn't significantly increase the size of the phone, maybe 5-10% thicker than caseless. I have a Samsung S8+ and it's large enough on its own.Screen protector is kind of on the soft side being plastic it isn't terribly scratch resistant, but it doesn't shatter like glass ones. I've gone through three of these in as many years, the frame is finally cracked in all four corners and isn't retaining the screen protector itself after the better part of a year.Screen protector is water resistant, though the cutouts for the cameras and microphones do allow condensation to build up underneath it via body sweat or from being in a hot/damp environment. Don't submerge the case as it is not impermeable.I don't personally use the holster that comes with this, my case has a rare earth disk magnet glued to the back of it for mounting on the inside of my work overalls via a washer+bolt retaining device instead so it doesn't fall out of my chest pocket since at times I need to wear a harness and my leg pockets aren't accessible, and allows mounting to a custom fabricated phone mount or attached to any ferric metal object for viewing/hands free use; it does however function well as a phone stand and as a holster if one was to utilize it.I'm fairly content with this phone case specifically as it (pre-magnetized pocket) prevented my phone from being destroyed from a fall of 16+ feet out of a lift onto a concrete floor during an industrial project. The screen itself did not shatter, though the back glass did (no big deal, I didn't notice till I took the case off to clean it) and the device is still functioning fine after nearly a year after the incident.My only real complaints are regarding the softness of the plastic which results in many scratches and scuffs quickly, and the fact that outdoors in sunlight or under a high intensity light the screen is almost impossible to read. If there was an anti-glare screen protector/more durable version of this that was water impermeable that'd be the only real necessary improvements for the product.

This has been a great case. My phone still looks brand new when I take it out of the case. It's stood up to every drop and daily wear and tear like a champ. Doesnt leak water or moisture. Clear screen protector resists scratches. It's still very clear and I've never had problems with it detecting my finger taps and pressure. After 4yrs the only thing I've noticed is a small crack in the corners of the plastic but it doesn't affect anything. It's still water resistant and I can still take it in and off no problem. I recommend it.

It's already been 2 years since I first bought this case for my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. I've dropped it a number of times and the case AND the phone has never cracked in any form or way (still on the same case and never have had it replaced).The design is super slick and robust and it feels super tough, while it fits the phone very snug and tight. The volume and power/Bixby buttons are completely accessible with the case on, and the speakers play very well, with their small openings not being obstructed by the casing itself.It's perfect with only a few number of considerations to keep in mind:1) The screen protector that goes over the front of the phone get scratched easily. It will have permanent scratch marks just from usage over time (swiping, scrolling the screen, etc.). Some people see this as a deal breaker, while others won't. After 2 years of usage of the same case, it doesn't impair my viewability of the actual screen of the phone usually, but if you're in the shade and you have the backlight of your phone too low, then yes it's noticeable. Just increase the brightness and you should be just fine.2) It may trap heat more. It's not a common problem, but as someone who's used the phone while roofing in South Florida's humid days, it can make an already hot phone even hotter, and surprisingly, make the SIM card go nuts and lose service until you cool the phone down and restart it. I know, I know, it's a very extreme case (pun intended), but I figured I'd bring it up for anyone in similar conditions.3) The flaps that cover the audio jack and the charging port will stay partially loose, just from usage over time. It's understandable if you're going to keep plugging in headphones and charging your phone via USB cable. If you've gone completely wireless in charging your phone or listening to music, then those flaps should probably stay flush with the rest of the case for a long time.4) You'll have to periodically remove the phone case to clean the inside of it. Dust will sometimes enter the casing, but only after a long period of time (Around once every 3-4 months.) It's a super simple task.Overall, I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking to preserve their S8 Plus to as amazing condition as possible, and looking to make their phone last.
