Genius little device! I use the Duet app on my iPad to create a dual screen set up on my PC and my Mac. This clamp holds my iPad securely to the screen on either device. A rubber-padded interior protects the Mac/laptop and the iPad. It's light, small enough to carry in your briefcase and I haven't had any instances of the iPad slipping or dropping - despite using it for 9 or 10 hours at a stretch.It does mean that the hinge on your Mac/laptop needs to be stiff enough to support both its own screen and the iPad, but again, that hasn't been a problem for either of the machines I use it on (a new Macbook Pro 13" and a Lenovo x240).

Bought two. They work. It is a bit scary attaching them to the screens on my Macbook and iPad.... you worry you may tighten too much and crack a screen. Be careful and they work.

Disappointed that it didn't clamp hard enough against my MacBook Air screen, even with the nut tightened high.I think it would work well for a thicker laptop, but it should be said that it's not very suitable for thinner displays.
