These cushioned edges were easy to cut to fit and have been in use for the last couple of months. One corner did come off when my 10mth old was playing but it was easily stuck down again (and it was because the stone underneath was uneven to start with) and he hasn't been interested in them- too busy doing other things. I can see why some might be interested in playing with them- babies are interested in everything after all. However, even if there is a risk of one being pulled off, or bitten, that pales into insignificance compared to the potential instant trauma of a fall onto a stone hearth- I can prevent pulling/chewing/swallowing but might not be quick enough to prevent a bad fall. These edges are fantastic and I'm buying more for another room. Update- My son is now 21 months and the cushions are still in place and working perfectly. Such a great product that has saved us from a few bumps along the way.

I highly recommend this product. They are a bit chunkier than I thought they would be but it makes the padding excellent + very safe. We found them a little tricky to apply + ended up applying a bit more pressure to some sections so it has ended up looking slightly uneven but fortunately they blend in very well to the fireplace so it's not that obvious. They are very sticky when you first apply them but I have noticed one section lifting slightly. This is probably because we didn't clean around the fireplace first which was recommended so I'd suggest you make sure you do that so they stick even better. Having this product gives real peace of mind as they would definitely prevent a nasty injury.

Product visually looks as advertised, easy to install and makes the edges soft. Tape provided is not very strong so would recommend purchasing better tape. Product is made from foam which makes matching the joints difficult and the short lengths means there are multiple joints which makes it look messy. Product works as advertised but would not say this is value for money, product seems priced up for the baby proofing naming to be on the box. Will be replacing with a different product in the future.

This is very cushioned so would protect little heads against any falls. We have a black fireplace and the chocolate colour looks pretty good against this - in fact looks as though it is meant to be there! It was very easy to stick on as it comes with double sided tape. I needed to adjust the thickness of the guard as our fireplace is very shallow and this was easy to do by cutting itwith a normal pair of scissors. Very pleased with purchase.

Great product. I have used these on my fireplace and it is now baby-proofed. I cut them down slightly to fit the shallow depth of my fire hearth and it looks like it was part of the original design. Some of the other reviews I have read state that it comes unstuck. This is true to an extent, but if they used a stronger adhesive, there would be far more complaints that it was damaging the surfaces it was stuck to on removal (they can't please everybody). I can only suggest using an alternative adhesive yourself to suit the surface you are sticking to, if the one supplied is a problem. Also, reed the instructions before hand to avoid any issues.

We wanted something to go round our fireplace in case our daughter fell on it, but didn't need a full on fire guard as we don't have the fire on when she's around. This is a good fit for our marble hearth, the colour is drab so it kind of matches the hearth. It's durable and has lasted picking at by our toddler, quite expensive but if it lasts the year or so we need it for then not bad. The glue sticks well too, the cheap corner guards we originally bought from Lindam fell off instantly but this hasn't (yet)

It lets you cut the foam bars to the length needed, and stick them down, which is nice, but it is really seriously not beautiful - you can see every break where the bits connect (those designed in at the corners, and those you make to customize it). That said, it does the job in terms of protecting small heads from hitting sharp corners. And that's the more important thing, right. EDIT TO ADD: A few months later, and there is a bit of an issue with them getting knocked off. Particularly on the corner of our fireplace which is a higher traffic area, the sticky has lost all adhesion on the corner unit. Really need to dig out the tape and add a new layer, and hope that lasts better, but haven't got suitably motivated yet.

I used it for the hearth to protect the baby from hitting her head. I could cut it easily to fit the size of it. The only downfall was that the stickers are not enough so i had to cut them into pieces and put them on. They are not enough for the entire length of the pieces of cushions you receive. It looks nice though

Pour l esthétique ,je m attendais a ce que cela tranche avec la deco mais finalement pas du tout, je recommande fortement pour securiser au maximum

Very effective and sticks on great! The edging is very firm and cushiony. Easy to apply as well. Would highly recommend this to a friend!

Queda muy disimulado en la chimenea porque es de ladrillo oscuro y parece muy seguro porque es gordito y blandito, así me quedo mucho más tranquila cuando la nena juega cerca. Lo único que se despega muy fácilmente y hay que jugar con ella "a pegarlo" en vez de "a despegarlo" para que lo deje en el sitio.

Klebt am Kaminstein und hält, wenn man es nicht mutwillig ständig ab macht.

Funziona benissimo e si è attaccato perfettamente anche se i bordi del mio camino non erano lisci. Lo consiglio certamente.
