I bought a pair of these Thai Pads during Lockdown#3 (end Mar 21), ready for when we could all start sparring again within our MA school 3 months later. Initially quite stiff, they soon 'relaxed' into sturdy pads capable of taking some big hits, whereas the user didn't feel the pain! Perfect so far. I then noticed some of the stitching coming away on one of the pads, the other not showing a blemish. When it got worse, and the stuffing leaking, I contacted RDX for assistance via email. I received an initial response within an hour, on a weekend, swapping pics and messages through a train journey. Friendly and professional throughout, Freddy and the team supported my concern and I had a replacement pad within a week, delivered to my door. Absolutely outstanding service, nothing short of what I'd expect from a company of RDX's reputation - I'll continue to use for my kit requirements, and thoroughly recommend to anyone; you don't know how good a company is until you need support, these get a gold star from me.

These pads feel like they will last a very long Time, you can see the stitching on them is very robust. They are comfortable to hold and have the right level or firmness when striking. The delivery was fast and I am really happy with these pads, great value and when you hold them you can tell they decent quality!

I guess enough time has now lapsed so I can now finally give a productive review of this item. My friend and I bought one each, as the item is a single and not a pair. I am an amatuer boxer and over the last few years have dabbled in various combat sports, my endeavours took me through BJJ, Silat and then Muay Thai boxing. I liked the art of the eight limbs and enjoyed the training regime that was run by my gym. I have trained for over 12 months and have had two inter club fights- I would say that I am an amateur at the sport...so you now know at what capacity I have used the shield. Back to the product:- I have based my ratings under three tiers. 1) Delivery, production description and quality of delivery. 2) Durability 3) would I buy this production again. 1) The production description was good enough to strike interest, the delivery came in on time and as described and the product was packaged well. Remember it’s only one item you get. 2) I brought the shield so that I can train in my own time and prepare for the inter club fights. What I loved about the strike shield was the fact that It was versatile light and sturdy the same time, I had to break through the leather which was tough work, it was like kicking a brick the first few times. This helped me a lot, the product is durable, I mean I use to kick around 200-300 time each session and it still was rock solid. It was flexible on your arm for the person holding the pad and you could easily switch position without feeling lumbar with and awkward shield- this made the combos more easy. I have gone through the pads and other than the expected wear and tear- it’s good quality and recommended. 3) yeah I would but I dnt think I have to as the product is still good...

I bought this for practising Thai Kwon Do kicks with my young son. I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy this pad is, really high quality sewing, easy but stable fit on my arm, I feel no pain when my son kicks this. The filling is quite compact, perhaps a bit too firm for little children, but certainly perfect for older children and adults. This looks really professional at a very good price. Dimensions (approximate, I measured this) 38x19x9cm. You probably need to buy 2 for higher level training.

the item is advertised in such a way that it hides that it comes as a single item, it's a bit like only selling one boxing glove, when i got the item it was so surprising that it was just the one pad. They say it's because it's too big to sell as a pair, but in actuality as rdx is known for cheap gear(that breaks very easily like I had a pair of 16oz's last year that were worn after a few weeks) and by selling it as a half it makes customers look at the price thinking that the pair is one of the cheaper sets, when in actuality it's roughly the same price as other brands that are alot more trust worthy. Especially in times like these were everyone is scrambling for home equipment and returns are really hard to organize, even if I were to order another PAD(singular) it wouldn't come for another week. It's even worse when customer service use the same copy and paste reply that doesn't really help at all, instead just putting blame on the customers to read the fine print. Which by the way I checked and there isn't mention of the fact that it comes as a single item until you scroll past the buy now and suggested items. It's just a bit of a scam really

Arrived within 48 hours of purchase. High quality and very comfortable to wear and kick. I've used these with a heavier weighted opponent who kicks like a tank and they absorbed lots of the shock and made training very durable! Still looking in excellent quality months later with no signs of wear and tear. Would recommend for anyone looking for a awesome piece of kit to add to their collection for training!

These look great, are very comfortable to hold & are lightweight. Great for practicing punches & elbows & the curve design is perfect for knee strikes & emulating roundhouse kicks to the floating ribs during MMA (mixed martial arts) classes. I've been using them 2 or 3 times a week for a couple of months now & they're in the same, faultless condition as when I first removed the packaging. They stay in position on my forearms throughout training sessions without me having to super tighten them & risk cutting off any circulation. An absolute bargain at the price too. Just remember that these aren't sold in pairs, so be sure to order 2 together so you're only paying the single delivery fee. (Glad I didn't fork out £120 for the Venum thai pads now, lol.)

RDX è un marchio relativamente nuovo nel mondo degli sport da combattimento tipo boxe, kick boxe, mma ecc., quindi meno blasonato rispetto a marchi storici quali Leone o Everlast, tanto per citarne due famosi, ma questo non va a discapito della qualità di RDX. Ho già preso altri loro prodotti, per esempio guantoni in pelle da sparring, e sono davvero buoni, anche come prezzi. Quindi sono andato sul sicuro quando ho visto questi colpitori in vera pelle. Si indossano molto comodamente e sono ben resistenti. La pelle garantisce la durevolezza e la forma concava rende più facile tirare certi tipi di colpi, per esempio i montanti. Come ho già detto, i prezzi di RDX sono allettanti, soprattutto se andati a paragonare coi prodotti in pelle dei marchi più famosi. Consigliati!

Marque a laquelle je me suis laisser tenter et pour éviter de dépencer une somme de dingue je suis partis sur RDX et pour le cadeau de noel de mon frere: et direct ouvert tester et on teste toujours tres bon grippe cuir epais mousse compacte je recommande largement cette marque n'hesitez pas et meillieur voeux a tous

Good quality

Great price I bought them at and fast shipping by Amazon.ca. The pads are nicely bound in leather and are fairly light considering. The straps are riveted and sewn so they are very well fastened. I They are nicely solid to hit. I do not use them everyday but I recommend these over the Hayabusa (great brand but everything overpriced) ones because they will handle a beating over and over.
