I like the quality of the vanilla beans for making flavoring

I was happy to receive the package early. But I was disappointed when I cut opened the hermetic sealed wrapper, that there were three (3) that had mold on the tips, and they came in different colours five (5) were dark brown they other were a light brown and very dry. I went on internet too see if ok to use. So I used the dark brown toss the others out. But still worried that the extract may be spoiled if the mold were on others that I did not see. Until Christmas fingers crossed.

Three of the beans in the package had mold. They simply were not fresh.
