Hylite Ecoheater 3ft Tube Heater Guard White

Great product, but I just wanted to note for anyone else that although the measurement images state that it's 100mm (10cm) wide, it's actually 24cm, with a 19cm usable gap for your heater. This is actually great news, as most tube heaters ask for a 10cm gap above and below them, which this guard almost provides. So all in all I'm glad I took the risk, and hopefully this info helps anyone else.

It's functional and easy to line up the holes you've drilled in the walls to the holes in the grill. In my photograph the heater is not sitting centrally in the heater guard due to buying it as an afterthought and as a result not fitting the heater high enough above the skirting board. However is does the job, it stops me burning parts of my body and keeps laundry from falling on top of heater.

Product is great. Actually bought this as my new build house has the gas pipes running along the inside of the garage wall for the boiler and kitchen and I'm scared they will get knocked/bashed accidentally. Considered making some sort of protection out of wood but didn't want the pipe entirely boxed in. Found these and they are perfect. Strong and solid. Provide a wide berth from the pipe yet completely protect it and allow air to circulate freely around it. Wish I'd bought one long length but ended up with a 2ft and a 3ft a year apart. Only doing the bits likely to be prone to getting knocked by a bike/car/person/object. Shame on Amazon for the ridiculously oversized box.

Does the job perfectly. Made of solid steel mesh and nicely finished in white. Very good quality. Ensure you mark the posit up n of the guard before mounting the heater as it was larger than I expected and would have mounted the heater lower if I had installed that before the guard arrived. All in all very happy with my purchase.

Works like it should. Guards the heater on the wall. My dog is safe in the house when heater is on because of the guard. Easy to fit. Delivered on time. The size looked big when first opened package but once put on the wall, it's perfect.

Strong and correct sized cover

I bought this for the simplex airing cupboard cylinder heater, I got the 2ft version of this, but its WAY too wide and takes up way too much space, so I sent it back Its about 8 inches wide and the tube heater is about 2 inches, 4 inches wide would be ideal.

I thought this was a little overpriced when I bought it but I am pleased to say that it is well made and strong. It’s larger than I expected but fits a 1 foot heater well. You don’t get any sort of fixing kit, but that’s not really an issue. Worth getting for the safety aspects.
