Now that we are empty nesters, these dishes are a great size for us.

A good price for three lids and bowls. When you use these in the microwave they will get warm but that is because the food is hot. The microwave actually heats some bowls. These are microwave safe. Well worth the money. Shipping was crazy fast.

We bought these to replace bowls with plastic lids. These can go through the microwave, dishwasher, and oven without bending or caving in. If you invert the lids for storage, the bowls make a stable stack just under 6" (15cm) tall. (see photo). We bought one set about six months ago and liked them so well we bought a second set. They have held up well to daily use in microwave, gas oven, frig, and dishwasher. They don't seem prone to chipping like some glass bowls have been.

I never microwave frozen vegetables in the bag. Bad habit and not good for you. These dishes are perfect for that and other meal prep.
