Fork Me, Spoon Me: The Sensual Cookbook (Limited Edition)

This is a REALLY good sensual book. The mini paragraphs are really well written, sensual, atmospheric, you can "taste" and "smell" and "feel" waht she is talking about. It is sexy to a beautiful point. You get a perfect idea of what she is talking about and the recipes are not hard to do, nor you have to slave in the kitchen for hours only to be axhausted by the time you want "that special dinner" to arrive. On the contrary, reading it will get you in a sensous mood even if you only cook for yourself...

I got the book as a bachelorette party gift - it was part of a gift basket for the bride to be. It's a lot of fun in a grown-up, romantic way. It's a really nice gift for a couple that like cooking. The book includes passages on the sensual quality of certain foods and spices. It's not a gag gift, it's actually a really nice cookbook. The format is pretty small and it doesn't have photos of the food in case you're looking for something like that.

It was a bit smaller than I thought. I loved the list of ingredients at the front because I bought this as a gift and was able to buy all those things to put in a basket as part of the gift.

I am quite disappointed in this book as an actual "cookbook." The prose is contrived and almost comical in its attempt to be erotic, but I can respect the fact that suggestive words and alliterations can be fun, or even inspiring, for some. However, as much as I enjoy the erotic in life, I purchased this book for the express purpose of finding some nice recipes, not just for titillating text, and it is sadly lacking in the recipe offerings. There are some very interesting tidbits on food history and origin, and some of the recipes are indeed delicious sounding -- there just isn't enough of them to satisfy what I was looking for when I bought the book. However, I do find it an amusing read.

Book seems a bit unfinished to me. the recipes did not seem to be ones that were plausible, and I thought it would be more directed towards sensual meals to cook together. Not a huge disappointment, a few recipes do look tempting. Also, it is a very small book which I was not aware of. I might choose a different sensual cookbook in the future.

good recipes and explanations if you want to have some smiles preparing a quiet meal for two. The teenagers have been around since we received the book, first chance we get, we'll have that book opened.

My wife loves a well prepared and good tasting meal. Also with the positive effects and the added sex boost we are in a win win situation.

I've purchased this book as a sort of "gag gift" for two of my engaged friends for their bachelorette parties. Each time it was a big hit and everyone loved the idea. Toss this book, a cute apron, and some sexy panties into a gift bag and you're good to go for any bachelorette party!!!

I enjoyed reading the recipes and the comments however a lot of the recipes mentioned were not to my taste. However i would recommend this to the more adventurous cooks. =]
