Matt black flexible slightly rubbery, trim just wide enough to make a nice neat edge between my tiles and worktop/cabinet. No as easy to apply as you might think due to the gummy caulk adhesive on the back which you need to really press into the corners to create a good seal, I used the blunt end of a knife handle to drag along the length pressing firmly to push the caulk into the join , some can spill out from edges a bit and it's white on this black tape so will need to be cleaned off carefully once these have settled in a bit. But overall has done a good job and blends in well with my black worktop and cabinets. Unless you want annoying joins make sure you buy enough rolls for your long lengths this can be costly but a lot easier/less messy than caulking the old fashioned way.

Better than expected. It did stick after stretching it quite a lot but had difficulty making it stay together at the back of the toilet.

I thought this would be a good solution to a bathroom corner trim but after a few days, not exposed to bathroom conditions, the trim became loose with one trim piece completely peeling itself off. It has also contracted leaving gaps in the corners, seen in the photos. Instatrim do corner pieces but not in the UK. They don't ship to the UK either so I'm going to have to remove this trim and now scrape and clean the putty. Thank you very much Instatrim, extra work I didn't need. Don't buy this trim it's not fully supported

As expected due to other reviews glueing/silicone is certainly required. Attempted to try without and within 24 hours was all lose or come off completely. I was prepared for this prior due to reading reviews. Highly recommend silicone straight away. Nice neat finish and easy to cut with smart corner finish. Probably shouldn't be advertised as self adhesive for the price as certainly requires other adhesive for a bathroom. Used anti mould silicone.

This trim is a game changer. Easy to apply as long as its carefully done. Looks great compared to even the best silicone application. No mess. Superb product, wish it had been around years ago. I would recommend buying the applicator tool

Easy 2 use gud quality & price

Very easy to use and makes joints look tidy and neat. I filled a gap between a laminate floor and a length of timber in my van. Would buy again.

This was easy to fit but just would not stay stuck in place. I ensure everything was clean and thoroughly degreased, I even sanding the surface to increase adhesion and used a heat gun. I did a test piece on a similar surface which seem to adhere at first but that too ended up coming lose. It is a shame as it looked so good but now I may have to remove and try something else

Love how it's finishing off where the counter and tiles meets. Give about a cm extra till it settles and then cut it off at the edges - all mine, even in the corners, had to be filled in.

I wasn't sure when I got this product if it was going to be a "shopping channel gimmick" or truly provide the solution I needed for cracks / gaps between my new vinyl floor panels and the walls. Still not totally sure it does the detailed job that a professional cut trim would do - but so far it looks ok and makes the edges look neater and tidier. First off, we did have to use caulking as the floor panels would shift and move around without something strong to adhere them to the wall. Plus the InstaTrim does not appear to be watertight at all. There is a gap along below edge lines as there is no adhesive on the edges. I wouldn't use this as a sealant for any shower / washing area as water is sure to flow underneath and cause mold or damage below. The adhesive is just a "sticky tack" / blue tack kind of material which is not very strong. We ended up using super glue along the whole trim to keep it down and from bending inwards and coming off from the wall. Also, inside corners were easier to do than outside ones, but you we were able after trying other methods to do a proper corner (first attempt involved making a triangle insert). Time will tell if this truly last with mopping / cleaning of the floor and joints or if it peels off quickly and is not worth it.

Wie die meisten kannte auch ich bis dato nur die altbekannte Silikonfuge zum abdichten. Nun habe ich mir im Keller eine zweite Küchenähnliche Arbeitsfläche gebaut, mit entsprechender Rückwand. Da die Wände im Keller alles andere als gerade sind, war die Fuge zwischen Arbeitsfläche und Spritzschutz an der Wand unterschiedlich breit! Mit Silikon ausgefugt hätte bescheiden ausgesehen! So habe ich eine Alternative gesucht und diese hier gefunden! Ich bin restlos begeistert! Sieht toll aus, einfach zu verarbeiten, klebt hervorragend und dichtet perfekt ab! Durch die Breite können Unterschiede in der Fugenbreite „versteckt“ werden!
