how long will it keep your food warm?

Not very long. I bought this mainly to keep cold food seperated. I don't think it would keep food warmer than any other plastic lunchbox. Definetly not more than an hour or so.

Is this microwave safe? Do any of the plastic inserts warp in shape?

Yes it is microwave safe. After several washes I see no signs of the inserts warping - they are pretty hardy

How leakproof is this? Would a curry be okay in here even if upside down?

It does have a removable rubber seal which does help prevent keep any liquids from escaping. Having said that, after a few months of using it, i try to avoid eating anything that is more fluid in nature (with and without the tray dividers)While the latches are secure, i wouldn't trust it thaaaaaaaaaaaaat much. Also, if you used the dividers it would end up being more of a mess than helpful, because the lid doesn't seal the compartments from the top individually.To be honest, i look at it now, it definitely serves it's purpose for things like sushi, noodles and chicken (no duh, it's a bento box),but if i was going for something to hold something like rice and foods far more prone to sliding around to different sides of the container, I would have probably gone for one of the boxes that stack on top of each other. The fact that they stay upright while inside backpacks and messenger bags means you wouldn't have to worry about food going anywhere it shouldn't have.Hope that helps a tad.

Not carrying Sushi. If you want to carry liquids you need the Zojirushi screw top bento
