Sole has come away some 3-4 inches from the front of my army boot. Is this product designed for these types of repairs?

At such a reasonable price, it has to be worth a try. I have used it to stick back the rubber soles on my old boots when previous attempts with Bostik etc had failed to hold for more than a few days. After several weeks' use the joins are still sound. Follow the instructions carefully!

Does it work for holes in the sole of shoes?

You need the American rubber adhesive, which is made for sealing holes

Would this work well for glueing: 1) two layers of leather on top of each other (sandal strap coming apart), 2) rubber protector to leather sole? Tx

I didn't glue Leather to leather so not sure.I glued Rubber to Leather and it worked very well. The shoes are worn out now but the repair never came apart

Would your product glue the rubber of a shoe's sole to the canvas material of a pair of sneakers?

The specification says that it is suitable, however I have not tried it with those materials.
