This is my Best Buy! My pond looked like pea soap , I didn’t think this would clear my pond as it was so bad. When installed which was very easy to do , i found that i had to keep cleaning the filter around every 4 days for about 6 wks. ( This was a bit pain but well worth it ) . Around the 6 wks mark i suddenly noticed i could start to see the bottom of the pond. Now my pond looks like tap water as it’s so clear , i am totally amazed at the total difference this filter has made . I can now see my Koi for the first time in over a year, would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Works well looks good and keeping the water clear when I cleaned them out I have 2 running the new one was not to bad so all good

After trying various pond clear treatments to mixed results I decided to bite the bullet and get a filter. Installed on Sunday, by Wednesday my 4000L pond was crystal clear (no fish, just nature). I dropped one star for the poor instruction details. Though help from people on the question and answer section made installation easy.I buried mine next to the pond and with a bit of shrub growth you won't see. Very quiet too.I used 25mm pipes with this. Any are possible, but check which size fits your pump before ordering. I bought 32mm by mistake and had to return and re order.Great little filter system overall.

It started with a small wildlife pond! but soon morphed into 4x4metre pond with carp and Lily pads.. and this has been invaluable, I wanted crystal clear water and within 3 Days i had and still have water so clear I can actually see the tiny carp fry with ease, if you want a easy to clean filter and uv set up, this is the one for you, it is on the large side but a few well placed plants and you are good to go, and so easy to set up, There is no plug supplied but that's not a problem, and all my existing hoses from my old filter fitted straight on, 10/10 and recommend if you are a novice like me

I waited a few days before i wrote this just to see if i noticed a difference with my pond.This filter is very large (Just under 3 ft tall and roughly 1 ft across). I buried it into the ground to just under the release ring.so 2 thirds are submerged. If you didn't bury it you would need to build something to hide it or it would look like a small bin standing at the side of your pond.This isn't small at all, so be prepared to accommodate it somewhere so its not so noticable. To put it into context the box it came in was just over waste high.I opened it up just to check the foams and bio balls which come pre-installed, there massive so i imagine once the pond is totally clear you wouldn't need to clean them that often.Once you hide or bury it, connect your intake and return hoses/pipes.(NOTE: No hoses come included, so you need to get these separate to suit your equipment) I used 32mm hose from my pump and 3/4 solid pipe as my return. Once you have these plumbed in turn on your pump and allow the tank to fill and start to flow back into your pond before you turn on the UV lamp.My pond is roughly 10,000 litres with a healthy stock of good size Koi, shubunkin's and gold fish. My pond was pea green before i fitted the filter. I couldn't see my fish unless they were close to the surface, so i didn't expect to see any major noticeable different for quite a while, but after just 3 days my pond has already started to clear. I can now see my fish again. If it keeps clearing at this rate i think my pond will be crystal clear in no time at all.I'm very impressed with the overall build quality of the unit and expect it to last a long time.I knew this filter doesn't have any back flush facility or bypass so it will need to be manually cleaned when needed, as long as it does what i need it too, keep my pond clear then having to clean it isn't an issue for me.Overall im more than happy with this filter and can't really find a fault with it.

I bought this product through Amazon and it was supplied by a reliable retailer however the uv tube is not working. Tried three different fuses just in case it was the plug that I put on with no success. Noticed condensation in the light unit which would seem to indicate that it has been subject to water ingress at some point. Whilst the filter unit is now up and running the whole point was to give my pond some additional uv.

Within 2 days the pond was starting to clear. Within a week it was crystal clear. I went for a much bigger capacity filter due to having a large number of fish. Having to clean filters every 4/5 days and am amazed how much gunge is being removed. Hopefully cleaning will not be as often in the future but if my pond stays so clear I am quite happy to do it. It takes a good 20-30 mins to clean well so not too demanding!
