We first tried a nespresso coffee while visiting a sibling's home, and we were blown away with the quality of the coffee. Everything about the nespresso was amazing: the smell, the look, and especially the flavor. After returning home from our visit, we took one look at our drip coffee maker and said we are to old for mediocre coffee. So we bought a nespresso machine. And it has been great. As previously mentioned, the coffee is just perfect: the different coffees available, tastiness literally to the last drop, and no grounds/sediment in the bottom. I also need to mention the milk frother. It works like a charm and makes amazing froth. A couple of problems, but they are minor. I was washing drip tray and it fell on the floor and broke, which was a bummer. Also, when ordering coffee, make sure to get the descaling packets. It was not long before we got the signal the machine needed descaling, and it will stop working if not descaled in a timely manner. Having them on hand is a necessity. So in conclusion, the nespresso and aeroccino forther are amazing and well worth the financial outlay.

Hi This machine is awesome. I live in NY and had many great cups of coffee and espresso. My wife loves her Starbucks as well. I have a problem paying $5 for Starbucks. So, The machine.... well it works great, Super easy. The frother is super easy too. Ive has all kinds of coffee machines and this one is the best. We have made cappuccinos and it was easy. Most important the taste is fantastic. Yes the pods are like a $1 each, but If we cut down on the $5 outside cups then we will be even better. Some people have broken the machine with the water reservoir. yes its delicate , but all I do is take off the lid and pour water directly into it.

Really I am blown away by the quality. I was skeptical because I thought maybe it was just marketing. So I thought I would try it for myself. Really I have not make coffee or espresso this good at home before. I have an espresso machine already, and my husband and I make pour over coffee every morning. But this is a whole nother level yumminess. Absolutely recommended. I wish there was a place closer to me that I could purchase the Pods at. I don't like having to order them online. And I don't want to drive into San Francisco get them. Although there are places nearby that I can drop off recycling for the pods and that is good.

Love the taste and easy usage.. I have only had it a bout 30 days, but I am concerned about the automatic lift going bad and possibly the water tank leaking ( mentioned by others) I can see both of these things happening, and I am a careful user. Time will tell

We received the machine on April 23rd, 2019 and it made coffee rather efficiently until June 9th, when the start button turned red and the receptacle where the pod is inserted wouldn't open and the machine was very hot to the touch. We followed the instructions printed in the accompanying brochure and found out that the company is aware that this situation might occur ("machine internal error" they call it) and we followed the instructions to solve it. We unplugged the coffee machine for some 30 minutes, plugged it and the green light returned. We tried to make coffee again and the same sequence of events took place and we finally unplugged it until this morning, June 10th. This morning we plugged the machine, the button lighted up green and the receptacle opened. We inserted a pod and pressed the start button and it turned red again and wouldn't make coffee or open. The brochure adds that if this happens we should contact a "Nespresso Club," whatever that is. The Amazon site says that the "return window (for our contraption) closed on May 23rd." The life span of this gadget was less than 6 weeks and was unceremoniously buried in the garbage, where it belongs, with a Glad plastic bag as a shroud. We briefly mourned the $170 we had given to Amazon for this defective contrivance, turned our back and walked away. Next? A Black and Decker drip coffee machine, not a Nespresso. machine, of course.

I was so excited to order the Nepresso VertuoPlus. I was definitely upset when I opened the Amazon box to find the seals had been broken on what was supposed to be a brand new machine. But upon inspection everything seemed to be brand new. So I'm thinking maybe when the person picked up the heavy box by it's handle it must have popped the seal open.Set up was really easy. I followed other reviewers advice and read the whole instructions manual before even plugging it in. I've only made one cup of coffee so far. Today is my first day using the machine. But wow, what a wonderful, flavorful first cup. I can definitely, stop wasting $5.75 on lattes now. I love that it came bundled with a welcome box of coffees to try and the milk frother (I haven't used it yet). I haven't had any problems with the tank leaking but again I've only made one cup thus far. The machine looks beautiful sitting on my counter. I would have given it five stars if it had been sealed when I received it. I have until January 31st to return it. I'm hoping nothing goes wrong with it. But the broken seal makes me nervous.

I love this thing! Now the pods are about $1.10 a cop of coffee. With that being said, it makes a killer cup of coffee. It’s quality over quantity. The pods have a little bar code on them and the coffee maker knows the about of water to use. Watch the oz size in the sample pack it comes with. Amazon is the best price on replacement pods if you get free shipping
