Ortofon Stylus DJ S - replacement stylus for Ortofon DJ cartridges, Concorde & OM DJ S, blue

Arrived promptly, as described. An absolutely classic product, works perfectly.

Always used Ortofon due to the output via my mixers, now used in my studio. Perfect for tracking,back cueing. Full stop needle stays in the groove. Recomend only use the original for correct performance.

Back to using the particular stylus after using a couple of years of using the basic black Ortofon stylus as it was cheaper The difference in sound quality is massive. Definitely sticking to these from now on.

Having been using a number of products for my Technics 1210's the Ortofon DJ S is a better than average needle with the existing equipment i use. There are perhaps more expensive products available but in this price bracket the sound quality is excellent, though most people should be aware that this component is only as good as the cable, connects etc that go towards reproducing a better analogue sound from vinyl.

How good does this new bad boy sound? Many thanks for reinvigorating my desire to play my 12"s once again.. I can't say the neighbours are as enthusiastic with my regained vigor.. But you can't please all of the people all of the time..

Replaced a damaged stylus. Usual good quality from Ortofon.

The sound quality of this needle is really poor.

Calidad de sonido y de scratches

Bella puntina. Restituisce bassi giusti ed anche una adeguata gamma di medio-alti. Per essere una conica se la cava bene nei dettagli non come una ellittica (che però "soffoca" i bassi), ma sicuramente meglio della scratch.

Responds great to the DVS tracking and for real vinyl. Clean, clear and responsive. On the other side it is low but not as low as the OEM Pro S.

数年前に交換したきりで、プツプツ音が気になってきましたので交換しました。最初は少しシャープですが、しばらく使用していると馴染んできて良い音になると思います。
