Most Americans do not know the difference between grade b and grade a syrup. what is sold in the US as grade A used to be rated as grade B. I am 79 years old and grew up on a dairy farm which had a small forest of maple trees. I helped in the harvesting of sap and boiling down into syrup. It takes 50 gallons of sap to make a gallon of syrup. Most American so called grade A syrup only uses 40 gallons.

This was first time ordering your syrup, I was hesitant because I usually buy grade B. However I'm very satisfied with the strong maple flavor especially on my pancakes. I haven't had a chance to bake with it as yet, but I'm almost certain the flavor will carry through when I do. Since I had run out of syrup, your prompt delivery was very welcome as well.

Unlike the maple syrup we used to get from the grocery store, this has great robust maple flavor. Nice and thick, slowly spreading out on our pancakes or waffles....yum! I swear you can taste the quality. My wife was not happy I spent this much on syrup, now she asked me top order more, so, this is our second order. Also very nice to know how clean and organic their process is....it truly is worth a bit extra cost for this excellent maple syrup. Go for the robust dark syrup, you will not be disappointed.
