Whew!!! This thing is a beast!!! I have an 800 Gal spa and it almost emptied it in 12 mins. I have to say almost because it doesn't work when the water is below 2 inches, it auto shuts at that point. I have to use my wet/dry vac to get rid of the rest of the water. My old one used to take over 4 hours to empty 800 Gals.

Awesome water pump. We use this pump every day to pump out around 50 gallons or more water from water troughs for our horses. We use it all year long. It looks a bit rough but that happens on a farm. At first we used a 3/4” garden hose and connected it to sprinklers in our pastures. Last year we switched to 1-1/2” pvc pipe to a 1-1/2” hose. The only issue we ever have is when the three sensors on the pump get dirty and need to be brushed clean. We use a old tooth brush. That solves the problem of the pump shutting off too early or not starting when submerged in water.

Made short work of draining our 10ft stock tank pool for the winter. The hose adapters are super helpful - use a regular hose or a 2in hose to move water quicker. Reason for 4 stars is that it’s misleading that it gets water down to 1/8inch. It’s more like 3/4inch but no way is it 1/8. Overall I like it and would recommend and buy again.

This little guy is a work horse. I own a flood irrigated home that has some drainage issues leaving a excessive amount of standing water in my backyard. This pump decreases the amount of excess water just using a garden hose. I am impressed.

I bought the first one. It ran 2 days and then sounded like it was chewing up metal. It stopped pumping water. I exchanged it for another. I plugged it in and came home 2 weeks later and smelled hot wires. It was not pumping but humming and extremely hot. I can’t return it. To the trash it went. This is a cheap pump encased in a cute plastic molding to sell. Very unsafe!
