Sorry for the lengthy review, but there are some things you need to know about this light fixture:About the light:THINGS I LOVE AND THINK YOU WILL TOO:-Modern, Unique, Stylish, Pretty. You will get comments on this light for sure!-Really nice range of warmth and brightness!-The remote is well made and comes with an auxiliary button so you could say, add a fan to the remote.-Sides of base are vented and so allow for mounting over a bathroom fan. But, keep in mind, this may be risky as you will expose the electronics to more dust over the long run.THINGS YOU NEED TO BE AWAY OF:-I would say this light will give your room more of a modern unique look, rather than a high-end look. The finished are painted and not very pricey looking. Yet, the light would look great in a bedroom or bathroom, which is where we put it.-The white spacer dowls that are used to attach and space the light blades to the housing were shipped in a plastic bag with all other metal hardware, nuts and bolts. This caused then to get pretty roughed up and scratched. You might want to touch these up with white paint when installing the light. The manufactured could have easily avoided this by packing the spacer dowls in their own bag. I hope they fix this.-The instructors for the remote are useless! There is just a single 4” slip of paper that gives labels to the buttons, some too small to read! There are about 4 buttons on the remote I can’t figure out what they do. I asked questions in the listing, with any luck, the seller will answer and clarify for us.-If you wire this light up to a wall switch, the memory for the light levels has a strange function. Flipping your power switch will cause all your brightness and warmth settings to reset, so no memory there. But there is some type of memory. The levels aren’t the same each time you flip the switch, but instead seem to cycle through 4 presets, Bright Warm: Bright Mid; Bright White; Dimmer White. So, at least I can do a couple of quick flips to get a light in the ballpark of where I like it. If I want it more precise, I can get out the remote.-Speaking of the remote, again: the instructions show a different remote, one that came with a mounting bracket for you wall. This one has some different buttons on NO wall mount.ASSEMBLY:-Easy to understand. Hubby figured it out on a glance. There is also a helpful video in the listing details. Not hard at all to put together.-A bit of time consuming to do all 5 blades, but that’s ok. I understand they can’t ship it with the blades installed.-Be careful when tightening down the white spacer dowl bars that hold the blades in place. These are easy to cross thread and strip, as you are screwing into plastic. Makes sure you are lined up and don’t over tighten.-Came with an extra nut and washer in case you lose one. Thank you!-Came with a white installation glove! Nice touch and necessary for this type of white product installation so you don’t stain it. Two gloves could have been more helpful, but even one is a nice touch which we appreciated! Hubby put glove on left hand to hold the light and work tools with the right.INSTALLATION:WARNING FOR NEWBIES: I wouldn’t recommend attempting installation unless you have wired in ceiling lights before and have a bit of ingenuity. Also, I don’t recommend following the installation mounting instructions shown in the video. If you do, you will risk needlessly marring your celling.The mounting base on this light is large. The light comes with a mounting cross-bracket, which fits the lamp, and is helpful. One problem: this is not a standard bracket that you could use with a typical North American Junction box for mounting ceiling lights. The holes on each end of the mounting bracket arms (holes for attaching the anchors to the ceiling) are set for widths between 7” and 11” apart. This diameter is much larger than your than your standard junction box, which is only 4”. So, not compatible with standard installation. This leaves you with a couple of choices:Option 1: Follow the video instructions and poke a bunch of holes in your ceiling that will be 7” to 11” apart. That will be fine if you never change this light.But hubby went with Option 2: Drill new holes in the mounting cross-bracket arms to align with your junction box. This way If change the light in the future, we won’t have to patch any ceiling holes that you would see outside the base of most light fixtures. Hubby was able to mount this light over the existing ceiling fan in our bathroom, by drilling through the center of the light bracket.Overall, if you love the unique look of this light, and can deal with this installation. I think you might really like it. I smile every time I walk in my bathroom and see it!

Great lighting and fan

I decided to open the box after few months and the fixture is damaged and can’t return or exchange it , is just a piece of trash

Instructions are not complete. The circuitry is not adequately designed and clear. Very difficult to install and we had an electrician install. He indicated that this item had been used and was returned and repackaged. Very disappointed with this purchase. Also the mounting bracket is not the same ad in the video and cannot sustain the lamp. Had to make adjustments to install. Lamp is pretty but the video is not true to instructions. Very disappointed.
