Odor-Eaters, Odour Destroying Super strength insoles for active wear, Trainer Tamers 1 pair

Hello fellow sufferers of smelly feet, I would just like to say that Odor-Eaters are an excellent product. They last well and really do reduce the odour in smelly shoes. However what has really worked for me has been using roll-on antiperspirant on the soles of my feet. Sometimes daily, sometimes every two days. Since I started using it I a year ago I have had no problems with stinky shoes or smelly feet. Apparently foot smell just like body odour is caused by bacteria growing on our sweat. Antiperspirants are supposed to temporarily reduce the size of our pores and can even be used to gel to plug pores thus greatly reducing the amount of sweat. For me that has meant no more smelly feet. My old shoes on the other hand are mostly beyond redemption, they just don't get a new dose of bacteria everyday and I have used odor-eaters to make the old stale smell bearable as I'm cheap and don't like throwing stuff away.

Game changer for smelly feet! Traps in odour and dampness too avoiding fungal infections. Also can be cut to size which is really handy. But be careful if you are buying new shoes and in between sizes then size up so these fit in too

These are very affective in the short-run, absorbing undesirable odours but mine never seem to last as long as the manufacture claims, not because I have rank blocks of cheese for feet, but because the friction of use soon, sometimes after 2 months of light use, creates a hole by my large toe, thus breaking the seal to the sometimes damp sole beneath, rending the trainer tamer unfit for purpose. I still buy them as they are simply an easy way to keep your trainers fresh. I also recommend using talc powder in trainers to keep them super fresh, though white sock-prints may result if you forget! Also, for real baddies wrap them up and put them in the freezer overnight, kills the bacteria! Then just make sure you keep them super dry with powder and these tamers. I am a size 11 so they fit effortlessly into my trainers, but they dont seem to make them larger so be careful with the any size claim.

I don’t wear socks in warmer weather and so my footwear can get a bit cheesy. These odour eaters are really very good at controlling the pong and do last a long time. They’re easy to cut to size and I use them in all my footwear from trainers to slip on loafers & slippers. They really are great value for money especially this multi pack

I would recommended you put them in on a new purchase, they don't work on shoes that have been worn. Used in my daughters dr martin's, nothing changed.

My 7yr old ASD daughter refuses to wear socks. I was washing her trainers every week as they, quite frankly, stink. Wasn’t expecting these insoles to actually work - but they do! Thank you to whoever invented these - you have saved my hallway from smelling like a swamp.

We've all had shoes or slippers we wouldn't want to part with until absolutely necessary. My slippers were fine on the outside but the cheap man-made fibre on the inside smelt. Hot rid of them and put these in. Both comfy and great fit for uk 10.5. Importantly, the smell went!

Works great and adds cushion.
