This is a great blender. We use this behind our bar and we're blending margaritas all day long. Every once in a while we have to change it because we've just blown out the motor, but it's been fantastic for us.

I like the blender overall, but I'm not sure I'd buy it again. The seal at the bottom where the blade gears exit the jar fails, causing whatever you're blending to leak out. This leads to a messy cleanup and could potentially result in bacteria growth since food gets trapped in that area, and there's no way to properly clean it. Even running clean water through it after cleaning causes black goo to leak out, which seems like the gasket material breaking down. Now I'm concerned that this could contaminate the food being blended.
