Great buy!
Don’t go to a car dealership for these; told me $300 to replace; easy to install and work really well.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:they were great and saved me a lot of $$ cause my husband put them in. worked well for my Infiniti.

They don't fit. Don't risk it.
I think the reason for the mixed reviews is the variance in how far one is able to get their trunk open. I could not open my trunk enough for these to fit. The struts are just too long and you cannot compress the strut and maneuver it into place at the same time. I know there's some good reviews but don't chance it. I work on cars. I'm handy. I thought for sure I'd be able to get these things on and I just wasted my time and damaged the car trying.

Perfect Fit!
Fit perfectly on my 2015 Q50. 1-minute install with proper tools. Prybar or something flat and VERY strong will be needed to slightly compress the shock before popping in second ball end (start with popping on the end on the trunk lid itself by giving it a solid smack, it'll pop right on and use flat prying tool to compress bottom end and smack it on). These even come pre-greased from the factory! Wow.

Good replacement that fits fine
The fit is just fine on a 2015 Infiniti Q50S. It'll seem too long at first but if you install the top part first then push you'll be able to snap on the bottom as well. The lift strength isn't that great, it does prevent slamming but it doesn't make the trunk spring open, it more so just stays in place when you let go. Still, beats the old used ones I had where trunk would fall and slam.

These fit 2014 Infiniti Q50 perfectly
When you install them, they appear slightly larger than the ones you are removing. Attach the bottom part first, with your right hand line up the top ball with the socket, and just push the trunk back until it fits in snuggly. The top ball rotates around so you might want to move it with your fingertips to a point where it can hook on to the ball.So easy to install too, took 2mins. All I needed was a flat head screw driver
